It's actually something I remember trying to talk to Shane about several times. In the past year, I just said fuck it and stopped taking the CoC seriously because people had stopped being problematic. You can ask Pizza about how chill I've been about the CoC in the past year.

Cool, that doesn't change anything. You always say ''Shane asked me to do this and that'' like you were in the right. I find this hard to believe when he wrote a paragraph years ago generalizing what he thought on the moderators. He said in his generlization of you that you tried to heavily over moderate everything. Mocha you are always full of bullshit excuses, I'm not buying them. I tried talking to you in a pm ''reasonably'' about these issues, and you completely ignored them. You will never take accountability for whats gone on in this website. You keep thinking everybody hates you for no fucking reason. They are all completely wrong and you're justified in everything you say. If you cared about the community, like Saxxon said, you would have stopped being mod and ignored ''Shanes demands'' which I don't even believe existed. Why would he just target you to carry out these demands? I saw no other mods carrying out the same level of over-moderation as you. I mean for fucks sake, you make it sound like he forced you to do it, like your life depended on it. Just sounds like bullshit excuses.

Agonist makes valid points so anyone who's trying to dismiss his argument is a fraud. He may be brash or aggressive in some aspects; nonetheless, the poll and responses to this thread show he is not alone in his argument. I think it boils down to this: the CoC is one thing; what really matters is how seriously the moderators take it and how passionately they reinforce it. I think that, lately, the mods have been taking it too seriously. No need to change the CoC itself necessarily, the mods just need to take it with a grain of salt.

Or the mods and admins need to be changed, notice how scared they are now?
 
Other than Hunnybuns and maybe Conq I don't think any of them deserve it, but that's another issue at hand.

I'm not sure it's a matter of deserving it. The Staff are people who are willing to volunteer their time to try to keep this site running well. Its not fun to go through all the reports or to clean up or close threads, but the staff are willing to put in the effort to try to make this site a good place to visit. :)

The few of you that know why I post the way do on TI know that I find all this very fascinating. All the events that have unfolded in the last year seems as if we have hit the 'mother lode '.

I personally have been banned twice. Both times without a single infraction. And neither times did I actually breach the CoC. On one occasion some members were actually bragging about how they all got together and were mass reporting me.
During my second ban I actually pointed out to the moderator that banned that someone threatened me physical harm. That post remains there to this day.
It was then that I made a statement to another moderator that something needed to be done about the site's double standards.

What are these valid points? A couple of his posts/threads got changed/deleted so he is throwing a hissy fit...

Most of us have had this done. Most deserve it, some may not have. Big deal. It is not the end of the world.

Sometimes I really think you people need a good reality check.
