Can you solo any instances at lvl 20 F2P?

Crusader, It buffs your self healing as well as damage it is just the strongest option imo.
As for the one dude asking I think you can probably solo stratholme living side but the undead side might be an issue. the baroness has a mc ability and I am not sure if she uses it if there is only 1 player or not. Ill log onto my paladin and give it a try.
Scholo is def soloable though and zg is a cata dungeon now.

Just tried stratholme undeadside and I couldnt get past baroness like I thought, she just possess you and the fight resets.

Have anyone solo'ed Shattered Halls? I've tried a few times, but when the first boss hits 25% or something like that, he starts going crazy.

Aren't there trinkets you can use to keep combat? Bronze dragonling etc.

yes but in order for the MX to break you have to be brought down to around 20-30% hp and I dont think the pet from that trinket can do it considering you are also healing etc at most you might get lucky and the mc will bubble for you.

Yes, you can. I'm not sure about other classes though, but Hunters can do it relatively easily. It takes some kiting here and there on big pulls, but generally you can have an endurance or ferocity pet do the tanking for you and then you just blast shit off. I solo'd shadow labs just fine on my Survival last week for the socketed boots and bracers from the quests. The only annoying thing was Grandmaster Vorpil, but because the fight is kinda ass rather than hard (the whole voidwalker explosion thing + "haha I'll teleport you" can be somewhat triggering). Murmur was just a tank 'n' spank with careful usage of mend pet to keep the pet alive and tanking. If you're having trouble maintaining your health pool up, you can also stick to a Ferocity pet for the 10% leech. It may not seem like a lot, but Survival specifically benefits a lot from it. You'll heal off of your dots, Raptor Strike spam AND your mastery on top of that. It is particularly useful when dealing with large packs. It also helps to manage the health of the pet as Kill Command will heal it.

I'd imagine Fury Warrior makes for a great solo class once geared up because they scale very well with gear and double crusader procs offer good survivability + nice burst windows. Add to that the fact they can cleave every skill with whirlwind now, and trash packs can likely be cleared with relative ease.

Generally though I would say every class has at least one spec that can solo dungeons, albeit ones slower than others of course. It will all come down to the gear you have and your patience to deal with the potential need to kite mobs and stuff.

I couldn't solo underbog's last boss black stalker with mm or bm. Or Auchenai crypts last boss exarch maladaar (he spawns something powerful when he has low hp) Can you solo them as hunter? If so how?

I did. But then again, I wasn't able to do it at full f2p status. When I managed the kill, I had every socketed piece I needed except for the gauntlets of desolation. The trick was basically to keep moving constantly as to not get hit by that red shit he summons so I could be at full health on spin to win phase. I also held exhilaration until the last moment. I did it with Survival and a ferocity pet. If you have any buff active item, such as Elekk's Tusk for example, try to save them for the last phase so you can create burst windows and burn the boss down as fast as possible.

I haven't tried any of those as I didn't want any of the items available on both instances, so I'm not too sure. What I can say though is that I play only Survival for solo dungeons, never touched BM or MM. But uh, Black Stalker is a simple fight, no? I don't remember any crazy gimmicks there, so it shouldn't be too hard to tank with the pet and keep it alive through leech + mend pet (survival is particularly good for this because of Alpha Predator giving two charges to Kill Command, making it easier to manage pet HP).

As for Maladaar.. uh, did you try to CC whatever he summons? If that ain't possible, maybe just try to burn him down since he is at low hp. That's what I would do at least.

@Edit: Forgot to mention, but I use an ilvl 44 weapon. That helps immensely to solo stuff. It can be easily acquired on a f2p account too, provided that it is linked to a veteran one for chromie time access.

I think it's why you're able to solo some bosses. Is it an artifact weapon? I don't think anyone can get a ilvl 44 artifact weapon now...

Nah, I could solo stuff prior to getting it as well. The artifact weapon is also decently strong. But yeah, it definitely makes things easier.

And no, it is not an artifact. It is a drop from a rare in WoD's Shadowmoon Valley (40% drop rate). There is a small catch though: it is a "loot once and done" mob, so if you kill it and don't drop the weapon, you either have to try on a brand new character or kill the mobs around the rare for a very low chance of dropping it (0.04%). This item somehow escaped the nerf bat and is still obtainable.

Oh fuck I remember killing that rare and staff dropping. I think I disenchanted it without noticing it's ilvl. Fuck me. I opened a ticket now. DAMN.

I have soloed both. Exarch Maladaar after he summons the extra enemy was just a dps race with some Aspect of Cheetah/Disengage kiting which, as a decent geared MM hunter with only an ilvl32 artifact weapon, was not TOO hard for me to do. I did die twice before I figured out the correct strategy. Beware that the second enemy won't despawn after Maladaar dies. Also of note, you can cast Revive/Mend Pet during Aspect of Turtle! It can save you mid fight in tough battles.
Black Stalker I did a long time ago so it's kind of foggy in memory, but I remember just needing to revive my pet a bunch and always maintain mend pet. I beat him really early in my character's life and he dropped the item I needed on the FIRST TRY so I never went back.

Persistence is key! Good luck!

How about old hillsbrad foothills?

Soloed it 3 times before the legs dropped. I've had good loot luck overall. Each run took just under 30 minutes.
It was one of the first dungeons I went to solo, so I could probably do it much better now.

The battles all require good crowd controlling via Freezing Trap and taunting off with pet. Thrall can also take aggro from a mob. Utilize this because after each battle, Thrall heals back to full.

On the actual Epoch dragon fight, hiding behind buildings at correct times to avoid the DoT as long as possible and making sure Thrall does NOT get hit very often will make a lot of difference. A very important thing to note: the fight doesn't reset if you die IF THRALL IS ALIVE! He will take aggro, and you can actually MOUNT UP AND RUN BACK TO THE FIGHT if he has a loot of health! If you did really good DpS during the first life, you should be able to clean up the fight when you run back. The DoT he gives is brutal, so if you get it, you may as well go full DpS against him. Leech plus Exhilaration and the engineering belt heal (highly recommended but I didn't have it when I soloed) will keep you up a bit longer.

This is from a hunter's perspective, of course. I have no plans to play any other class, so I don't know how tough dungeons are for them. Just remember: persistence is key! Good luck!

Is there a level req on that? can you get it on a level 10? Could reroll allied races pretty easy, just a flight from ashran...

edit- i mean for it to drop, not to equip.

FFFFFfffff.....k. Tried to get it on my surv hunter and Guardian druid. Both unlucky. Now, gotta either reroll, or farm those forever.

SYLVANAAAAAASSS!!!! Damn you!

Btw, any other finds like this one? I'm gonna start killing every single rare monster out there.
No. Everything else is either downscaled or had a level requirement slapped onto it.

Edit: Honestly though, if you can't reroll a new character to get it due to whatever circumstances, farming the shadowglen spitters isn't as bad as it sounds. I used to do it on my former Hunter (didn't drop it from the rare) before I fucked its experience up with a sub and had to reroll a new one. The drop rate is low, yes, but once you get a proper rotation going on, you can move around the zone with no mob downtime at all, always having spitters to kill. I killed around 6k of them and didn't drop it, but that was like 2 days of farming the spot at most. It is very time consuming since the drop rate is low and the loot table is dilluted with a lot of shit, but the spot itself isn't too bad in terms of mob density. If you have time and patience to invest, it may be worth a shot.

@Warglave No, there is no level requirement for it to drop. I've got it on my Hunter as soon as I hit level 10. Just fly there, kill the guy and hope for the best.

I'll just reroll the hunter. Its a pain, but she isnt geared anyway (only the lvl 50 that got downgraded really). So might as well.

More annoying to reroll the druid, as I already have a few pieces from BC instances. Farming a 0.04% drop, or re-farming the BC pieces I got...I might keep him as is, and farm while in queue.

Thanks for your answer!
