Even better if you've faction changed to horde since the shattering! I'm assuming faction changing screws up the order in which you recieved achievements/items since it's all fuck up on the armory afterwards.
 
I wouldn't try bringing other people into the issue or they may have their items deleted. Really you just have to make sure that the quest name is included in the ticket. I assume that the process they go through for item restoration like this is checking to see that you completed the quest you claimed to have completed and that you don't have the item in your inventory. If they really bother to dig it's pretty easy to figure out what you're trying to do. You just have to make sure you satisfy the two requirements I laid out and hope that they don't bother digging too deep.

i didnt say any ones name cause at the time no other 19's had it. i just said i have a friend (a made up friend).

but im sure someone out there had them just not talking. :p

just done my priest, just played it safe this time and said can i swap wand for robe, got it first go. but i got the differnt quest crap again but i just keeped sayin it the same quest just been moved to lvl 20 and re-vamped.

I recently made a ele shaman that i will be 19 twinking, do you guys think it would be possible to ticket a GM asking for the pants? Dont know what i would say though >.>
 
While I don't play WoW anymore, it's good to know that BoA's are not always BIS. It's the way it should be.

yeah instead of working for your gear you have to ticket a GM and convince them to give you BIS.

My thought is that they can check to make sure you completed the quest but they don't check to see if you have the old reward or the new one. There may also be a faction change aspect to this.



Here is the thing you need to remember. Although you have completed the quest you do not have the CURRENT reward. So you have completed the quest and did not receive the reward...THAT IS IT and that is what your ticket needs to reflect.

dont' do this^ the wand should not be an issue. just state that you do not have the reward from the quest you completed.

This is correct, I beleive you had to have completed the quest. if you didnt' you might be able to say you faction changed???
 
you need the GM to admit its the same quest or they say no, there probaly is a cool GM out there that will just give them to u, but if u want them just do a straigh up swap. i got to origanly keep old shield and new shield on baked but when i did the priest the same line wouldnt work on that GM cause when i said i got a friend with it they said "give me the name of the character" so i had to use wand to show i done quest and to swap reward to robe.
 
i would just like to add FRACTION CHANGES do not screw up the track they have on ur quests a few days ago (i am ally) i asked a gm to give me a runic darkblade, i did not mention tht i had deadskull shield at all, he checked my quests and could clearly tell every quest i ever did, so if u didnt do this quest im sorry U R OUT OF LUCK :( i saying this so ppl dont get banned over trying to get these items

I just got the Chest on my priest, shield on warr, and pants on pally. Lucky? :D
 
yes, i needed the quest completed on both, i would say he did too.

i had no problem with it, i also got quest reward changed on other toon too with the same method. plus i also changed a quest reward on my 60 pally with same method.

i didnt beg or plead so forget that one, i said no names to the GM, just play it safe and swap the old reward for the new one.
