i don't see why vincent would have issues with US players, just as we don't have issues when we see EU 19 twinks with 375 engineering, etc. as long as they stay over in EU we are fine.



US side of wow is overall gestapo type run. imo, blizzard has people that are paid to scour forums like this, mmowned.com, youtube, etc etc. looking at exploits and hacks.

there are also suck-ups that think they will get on blizzards good side by finding stuff too. that was really evident back when drayner was here, and posts from TI were getting cut/pasted/reported onto official forums
 
Vincent has been helping out for a long time. I don't see a reason why he/she/it would decide to report something like that. The problem may be that you may have used the items at the same time, or equipped an item ingame when you should be unable to.

Remember that some of your lv1 worgen were removed since they were "illegally" removed from its starting position.

Someone caught you and tattled. It may have not even been in this forum.

What may have happened was that many people were ticketing the same thing that the GMs had to look into it.



Since your runic blade was recent, they may have done it incidentally during the removal of the pants.

I agree with this too. In addition, I also think there could be a rat around who's class did not gain form this finding, or didn't bother to obtain the wand/shield Ƥ®Ɛ 4.0. So they decided to mass report.
 
This might be an odd question, but did anybody (eg by PTR) test wether a character that did the old Quest can actually pick up and Complete the new version at 20?



The reason I ask is that there were several complaints on Customer Support/EU by people being unable to complete the Zone Quest Achievements, as the system didn't allow them to pick up the new version of old Quests (as they were registered as completed) yet those old Quests didn't count for the Achievement. The Thread that springs to mind was one about the Northern (?) Barrens Achievement. (I also faintly remember not being able to pick up the 'new' old Quest of collectiing brains in the BFD zone, but I might be mistaken).



If it turns out the system doesn't actually allow people to do 'new' Quests that are old ones they already did, this might change matters as then it could be argued it's basically pretty much a standard Reward-swop.

I find it probable that the guys who were spamming tickets over this issue most likely pissed off some GMs. Im sure the GMs who were saying no to the requests kept seeing more requests and got tired of it. Congrats, your impatience and greed killed your own exploit.

I understand, I just wondered, considering the Quest Achievement issue, wether it actually works out that way in practice. The easiest way to test it is probably taking a 20+ level toon that has done the old Quest.



GM's are of course only trying to do their job, but as they said themselves (at least in the EU) time and again they have no special 'line' to the devs, and with the more 'esoteric' (read: anything not involving end-game) issues they aren't exactly always on the pulse of things (hence the different answers to the same questions you can get when you ask for an update on an issue).
