BiS Gear Lists?

cant help it when i read the dumbest thing all year, mans out here like 'grr if it doesnt drop in classic dungeons its bugged and needs fixing' no this is how blizzard intended things to be in SL, tbc gear doesnt need 'fixing' because there's nothing to fix and 20s with 13+ primary stat gems and 2.2k hp will make the bracket more imbalanced than it currently is with full ilvl 44 gear, you'll lose maybe 20-40 primary stat if it gets nerfed compared to tbc gear, that'll be a 15-25% damage loss compared to 30-50% of your health loss

straight up 1shot fest if tbc gear becomes bis.

get your calculators out whoevers crying.

if they fix it or not, i dont mind. It’s the whining, like you weren’t given months of warning from people who spent their time on the ptr finding this stuff for you.

i made a post the week before the prepatch went live that relics had gotten a level requirement and you’d need to prioritize them as they would likely be quickly fixed.

you had the information you needed to prioritize gear. You made a choice. You dont get to whine about that.
 
For pugs, if levelers can also hurt the twinks that is also always beneficial to fun games, that are not just lopsided terri-bads.

I'd rather have gemmed out pure glass cannons with low HP, than Glass Cannon Twinks with HP pools that levelers can't even scratch.

You just want to be invincible, that is part of a different problem all together.
 
i dont want levellers in this bracket sorry to break your misconception, i want balanced 10v10 twink games that actually play out like they should not whoever gets the first global off wins, im glad you're fighting in the levellers corner so they stick around for you to kill though, nice touch.

If that was a thing I would agree with you, but that is just you off in Christmas land and not reality, sorry to burst your bubble. I would imagine you have nothing further to say then.
 
tell that to the BGs that are popping 24/7 while everyone has locked xp at 20
 
If they are lvl 20 they are just people waiting till the gear is final before they move probably

I’ve sat in 6 hour queues on my 10s for no pop last week

yeah i know they're just vets waiting to unsub after gearing but the point still stands, all twink bgs are possible
 
I assume those complaining havn’t had the “Pleasure” of grinding Full gemslot pieces... as said previously same primary stats as ilvl50 gear when socketed + much more grind and time invested, worst part being some of these items drop from Dungeons that are Not on the LFG too and also require flying mounts to reach (like Mechanar and Botanica). Gearing up 1 twink is so time investing and the loot rng is so ass that I had to take a break. I wanted to get like 3 vets before cutting my subs but meh that is just going to take too fucking long.

Looks good. Yeah I was going to farm shattered halls for the +12 versatility maces for crusader swaps... I gave up. TBC has some terrible drop rates, at least I'm my mind it did. If I was happy with the overall bracket I would probably grind them out or even Rivendare's swords, but meh.

However time invested and grind are just not real factors, you do it or you don't, it should not mean you are just 200% better than the next guy. You should be happy with being 10% better.
 
Wont the level 29 players have like ilvl 35 gear in BG? Except what they dont heirloom? Honestly I'd be more "whiny" about having to overcome 10 "intended" ilvl than the extra 10 on top of that 5% of the playerbase might or might not have.

a level 37 green glove usable by a 29 is still only +7+10 with around 16 total secondary stats... not even close to a current 20 MEGA TWINK stacking mastery... the gap is larger than it has ever been.

I know the tone has gotten pissy in this thread but.... I have to voice my opinion that the 2-day window to get the artifacts with GF'd +14 relics was a bit tight. It's pretty silly that they shut the door but left the OP weapons untouched.

I'm not really talking "current" tho, it's assumed that will mostly get sorted out... and in that evenetuality your 20 MEGA TWINK will still just be a level 29 in level 20 gear, against level 29 in level 29 gear. Point was the intended disparity.

You'll scale up to 29 in BG, your gear doesnt right? Why is it "OK" that 29 will have 10 ilvl higher than you and not "OK" to have 10 ilvl higher than they do instead? The eternal problem. A 20-29 with 10 ilvl more gear than a 29 in BG is "bad"....

But a 29 with 10 ilvl more gear than a 20 in BG is "working as intended".
