EU+US Best Profession if not using Engineering Goggles?

Slasher

Veteran
For a rogue using Feathered Headdress and Feathered Cape (no need for Goggles or Cloak), what's the best profession alongside Alchemy?

Thorium Grenades are game changing.
Professions don't really give any perks like the used to (why in the fuck did bliz remove that?) so it makes very little difference what you pick.

Light does have a point though - herbalism will allow you to farm herbs while sub is off but you can only craft a handful of useful ones.

Herbalism because you can pick flowers inbetween queues and actually make the items to use (swift pots, mana pots, flasks and shit I suppose but like you wont need those if you're at 300 alchemy)

Hell if you're not about the consumable life you can just herb for the hell of it between queues and fill your reagent bank and make some quick coin off mats next time you get game time

You rly rly rly rly rly should just go with engineering tho as a vet so that you can have a more balanced set cause Feathered headdress is glass af

Once your sub runs out, you'll be unable to craft any items that require a profession skill of over 75, limiting the usefulness of alchemy/herb for vets once the sub is over.

Engineering allows you access to fun gadgets and goofs though. So that's fun.

You'd want engineering either way... Also having multiple sets can make a huge difference. You don't always wanna run feathered headdress. In mid you'll need that stam and vers, same for playing D or escorting your FC.

Sticks and stones

How do you lose wsg with a 5 man guild premade vs one rogue and a bunch of levelers
Dont think I've lost to you once

Albeit I have no proof of the multiple times I've 3/0ed you anyways because before I get the time to ss you've already /afked, I must say you have fast fingers!

At the same time I'm also not sure why you had to bring up bgs likes it's some sort of arguement, by the looks of things you have no way to prove to me or anyone else in this thread that herbalism is better than engineering for vets. Stop spreading misinformation please, you're hurting the bracket. Thanks:)

Can tailors make nets under 300, without a level requirement?

You have lost to me and will lose again, i am inevitable

You never 3-0d me bc i don't stay for faceroll losses or wins. I won't deny you and anyone can get me to afk out if you premade and have better levelers / i have 1200 health levelers. I don't use fingers I use my toes

WSG is all that matters

Herbalism/Alchemy is better because it allows one to continue making swift pots, thistle teas aka top game changing consumeables. 100% you are the one spreading misinformation here yw

See ya in the gulch

Uhm actually the smart and right thing to do would be to use your reagent bank considering you're a veteran and save a couple thousand swiftthistle, brairthron, and vials. You can buy the water for the tea from the yak vendor mount. You have access to hundreds if not thousands of consumables to make easily and can still use the goggles and like 5 - 7 other useful gadgets that come with engineering

Herbing + alchemy > engi if you're pure f2p, vet? Fuck no.

I had a lil moment there too then I realized yes it's a cooking recipe but it requires swiftthistle to make it so as stupid as his point might be he would be able to use herbalism to make the teas lol
