Bad Hunter Rap

They were supposed to be supportive DPS anyway, instead of gy farming and shooting and pooping CC's out of their ass. Good riddance.

I dont really know why you are saying this, where does it state that they supposed to be supportive dps? and the rest of the thing you say.. is just frustration and playing issues. Ive seen other classes gy farm just as much and a hunter is not the only one who can cc.

Hunters are supportive DPS in the 70-85 brackets, in which management is needed for hunters, in the brackets before that not so much. In this bracket hunters obviously dominate with the bad agility and ability damage scaling, not to forget perma daze and pet and scatter shot CC. My frustration comes pure from alliance with 70% hunter bg's in both WSG and AB. An no i'm not saying Horde is any better with its massive Paladin zerg. The only thing you can do to cope with powercreep is coordination and hopefully outskilling said overpowered classes.

What i actually wanted to say is that a dps nerf would be plausible, since a harder to manage class will lose its playerbase who seek ''easy mode'' and turn to another class the next being easy to play.

Then there will just be a new hated most Op class that everyone will complain about if its not hunts. If dps is nerfed then with the way healers are already and how they are looking come MoP this bracket will be a 10v10 heal fest where first to go oom loses. Nerf hunts like 20%, nerf all Hpals and priests 10%, buff locks and mages 10%, buff warriors like 30% lol and keep druid rogues and shammys where they are this bracket would be alot more fair..

Then again we are just one bracket and probably the least cared about bracket by wow so this will never happen

I don't think Blizzard cares about balanced PvP as much as PvE dps. Healers without any denying are OP in any bracket. Warriors don't really need a buff in dps as much as a Charge fix.
 
What everyone here fails to realise, is that every expansion has had an OP class. But nothing even close to cata hunters pre-70. Hunters were playable but pretty much garbage iin wotlk, and shamans were OP. Shamans were OP due to instant GW and Purge. 2 abilities made them OP, not EVERYTHING about the class, like hunters of today.
 
Hunters are OP because they have too much damage speed for people to react correctly. Hunters would be less OP if they cut down on their burst, because then, people could react. To beat a hunter, you need fast reflexes, and not everyone has them. The way I see it, hunters pull off as much damage as other classes, but they just hit fast. Any class can crit 600-900 on average, but hunters are so quick, it doesn't matter because they can crit again later.

Hunters will be a balanced class if they slow their attacks down, but kept the damage. :)
