As some predicted: Queue-bugging patched in 8.2

Not a single person in this thread has said anything close to this. And of course you don't give a fuck because you're a scummy f2p/vet player. "Hurr durr you want to do bgs and stomp levelers? GET FUCKED IDIOTS! I'm gonna go back to my leveler bgs and stomp levelers!" Maybe if you actually paid to play the game you'd care more.
oh baby I love it when you play rough

Damn someone's got their panties in a bunch, a lot of vets like myself have paid for this game for 10+ years, i'm pretty sure its much easier to "stomp levelers" on a 29 twink or a 39 twink than it is a 20 twink

Like a 10% difference if that. What about 60s, 70s, and 80s who have had their characters since wrath/cata? And no one cares about how long you've played the game. I've played and paid since TBC. If you don't pay for the game now then you don't care about patches that affect paying players, and it definitely shows in Chops' posts. I don't care if they fix the exploit, it's an obvious exploit, but un merging the brackets to begin with was fucking stupid and there is no denying it.

All this fix will do is lose them money. Why would any twink still bother paying to play this game if they don't enjoy max level content? But levelers in low level bgs aren't going to quit the game. They will just out level the twink bgs, go level somewhere else, and/or stick on their main characters. It just seems dumb to pander to their whining and lose players in the process when they are already less than 2 million subs.

I've spent more on WoW this week than you have this year, I promise you.
And? You don't play in any paying bracket. The change doesn't effect you, so you don't care. Not only do you not care, but you shit on other people for caring? Blizzard should definitely put Vets and F2P players into their own separate brackets as well. Away from levelers and away from each other. See how much you care then.

You assume alot. And it makes you look like a fucking idiot.

English is not my first language but if you read carefully it doesnt say nothing more than just restating what they did.
Until 8.2 we will see what happens but for everyone who suffers about 3 randoms 29s in your 20s bgs, think about 19s,39s,49s,59s,69s, there are not many players in those brackets but when i open my btag and see something like 109 druid or 99 hunter Qing for fun like most of vets are doing in 20s makes me think of the huge impact that it will do to all the twinking comunity, i Hope it doesnt get fixed tbh, more than just random 29s is going to pay the price.

One of the bgs that popped the most was gilneas, at a point 29s were almost annoyed with it, back to back gilneas Qs, sometimes full twinks both sides so i can assure you most of 29s just wanted to play their 29s not farm 20s if not they would just Q specific as Bgcrate gear isnt bis at all.
Remember is 20-29 not 20ssssssssss, if ftp was till 30 or even higher level a whole diferent story...

This gets thrown around a lot; other twink brackets want to just go against other twinks for more competitive games (or something to that effect). The truth is if the brackets truly wanted that they would be able to organize pops on their own or wargames.

The fact of the matter is, que exploiting into a bg on a level maxed character for that bracket that is decked out will never ever create competitive games for yourself or the bracket. Anyone that believes this is delusional. The people that que bug just want to face roll and feel powerful, just like the people that roll fotm even if its cancerous to the bracket. Those that que bug have every opportunity to roll a vet, ftp, or just play a toon in decent gear for the level and pvp on that char until it levels out of the bracket then rinse and repeat. It's the same with people rolling 5 mans with cancerous comps, or people using int buffs/OP consumables, etc that they know is bugged or gives a massive unintended advantage.

The people that truly want competitive games create or adapt to an environment that facilitates that. It's already been made very clear who was in it for the competitive games and who just wanted to face roll a bunch of noobs to get their jollies off.

I hope they don’t fix it. Most of you small minded individuals wanted to remove merged bgs to force most\part of your bracket into wargames and not actively try to organize what you encouraged. Or you were f2p/ vet / 110 legion account and didn’t care either way. It’s annoying how many people in brackets that aren’t effected or that take 11 minutes and 15 seconds to gear had to say on the bracket separation. And those same people have so many issues with que buggers when there should absolutely never be a separation in bgs. Blizzard segregating part of the game between 2 systems they have allowed to coexist in the game is silly and obnoxious tbh.

I’ve been on these forums for a couple months now and whenever I read what you type it make sense. You point out hypocrisy amongst people and have opinions that make sense. It’s to bad everyone glosses over it for some reason or try to debate it with nonsense like that phaggot chops. Anyways it’s refreshing to see a post that reveals truth.

i usually skip thru 20-39 and start lvling bg from lvl40 .. reason being there are too many geared players in that 2 brackets .. i like to be the only twink in the entire bg :D

You've never actually worked on a twink have you? And by playing a vet everything you said about stomping levelers is a moot point

Not a problem. Bigger problem is no twinks being allowed to play at all without making communities outside of the game to set up 1 night a week to do wargames. That causes people to quit the game. That makes blizzard lose money. Merged brackets doesn't cause any problems and only a very minor part of the population even complains about it. No one quits over it though.
The only reason you have to coordinate outside of the game to set up a weekly wargame is because your community is so small. And the fact that your community is so small mostly invalidates your argument about money. Blizzard is seeing a miniscule percentage of its player population causing a much larger percentage of its player population to complain about bad experiences causes by the smaller population. Blizzard now has a choice. Offend the larger population causing some fraction of them to quit their subscription or offend the smaller population causing some fraction of them to quit their subscription. The choice is obvious. Keep the larger population happier. So they split the queues in order to keep the larger population happier and if the smaller group has enough players, then they will remain viable without causing problems for the greater population. That's just the way it is. And if the twink community was large enough, they wouldn't need to coordinate outside the game because they could queue randomly and actually get the queues to pop. However, they don't have nearly enough population. In order to get a reasonable queue time (30 minutes) for a 10 v 10 battleground in North America, you would need approximately 200 players queuing on a regular basis at random.... per bracket ... per battleground. THAT is a significantly larger population than what you have. Now if you coordinate outside the game, then you can get by with a population as small as 20 players.

The paladin I play was in the 19 bracket during cata and mop, and prior to that I played twinks from vanilla up until the ruin migration when I quit for school/personal reasons. I had a decked out 29 warrior and a decked out 39 hunter each with multiple gear sets. I know all to well what it takes to gear a character. Dismissing all of the effort I've put into my paladin I play now just because my views don't align with yours is quite short sighted and simple minded.

When I went to level 20 it was at a time that holy paladins were considered quite bad, and when there were levelers AND other twinks varying from level 20 to 24 up to 29. I did this for the challenge of making a tier 3 spec viable and I succeeded. Unfortunately now holy paladins are quite powerful and it's much of the reason why I don't really play much anymore.

I don't enjoy stomping levelers, which is why I play a healing class that has limited offensive abilities, and why I solo que 90% of the time. I routinely use a ftp set to try to make things on an even playing field too. Everything I stated still stands. Those that actually want competitive games have the ability to do so without exploiting their twinks into the bracket.

gud guy greg
has f2p side action
+1

"Um obviously it's an intended mechanic because blizzard hasn't tried to fix it"
Wow what an obvious strawman and a bait, though you got a few fish on the line!

I’m glad for this change.

Blizzard has intended to keep twinks separated for many years (except for the patch when gear did almost nothing). Queue bugging to bypass this intent was nice for the twinks, but not anyone else.

A few folks sound upset about it, and that’s understandable. Severely overpowering everyone except other twinks really is a fun way to play the game. I miss my 39 MW monk from early this year.

Classic comes out soon, you will be able to rejoice again then.
