Its Call to Arms time for AB. Time to dust off that queue Arathi Basin button for most of you. Go play a few games and come back to this thread and tell us how you feel about it. Tell us what you like and what you dont like. Tell us some tricks you know to get people to listen or maybe some cool jumps or spots. Tell us what kind of team comps you are seeing. Tell us about the good games and the bad ones. Go blow some shit off LM or force people to jump to their deaths (watching others do it is fun too). Above all, have fun.

I have been playing almost exclusively AB for 6 months now (a few wsg in-between) and I have enjoyed every minute of it. Tell us what you think of Arathi Basin.

Alliance still dominate AB? I thought it was pretty much 50/50 since MoP.

He must not have played AB recently. Horde has around a 70/30 in my experience.


I used to like AB and used it to get away from the 3-10 24s per bg but now recently they are queuing for AB as well and it hasn't been as fun lately. Still better then wsg though...

I need to queue for more games with you Lost like 5 of 8 today as Horde. I won a lot when 5.2 first hit, but in my experience Horde win ratio has dropped since then.

Wsg is great for pugs because its more or less a linear field, whereas ab is a fuggin circle. I would enjoy ab more if I could play it like a real time strategy game

Played 6 and lost 6. I cant stand playing any more AB when its CTA.

This was some time ago but I guess the numbers to get there are not much different now; it took me 428 games total (375 wins) to get defilers Exalted (999/1000). Might be interesting for people still wanting to get this.

I played some games yesterday and all I can say is that all games that horde won were crazy close ones.
And in most of those allys had better geared ppl - seems like CTA attracts a lot of trash geared ppl in AB (since I'm grinding rep thus play only AB last few months I can say this without hesitation)
Overall I think I had 50-50 win-loose ratio (in last few games we made a premade and got some "easy" wins).
Few of those games were really nice ones, regardless of outcome.

I generally love playing AB much more then WSG.
You can't carry your team alone in AB like you can in WSG which is prob the main reason why I like playing AB
Also fearing 4-5 ppl that are trying to cap - priceless!

The only thing I can't stand are spamming hdruids... u need like 4-5 ppl to nuke 1 skilled hdruid.

alliance had at least 5 prot warriors in both games. one game i seriously got charge stunned about 6 times within 30 seconds.

Got into a game with 7 healers, 6 prots... Simply can't win that shit. Only thing I hate about AB.

I enjoy AB when my chars are fully geared.

I have re rolled horde so im trying to grind as much honor as i can. Best way to do that is sit at BS the whole game. However, this is boooooooooring.
