Oh god.
Simple: People like to crutch. Most OP class crutches on Eyepatch. They even get Aluwynn Legguards for free with it.
1 sole reason: Hunter get the best gear and are the easiest to gear on Alliance.
So alliance has a advantage.

Only because the most OP class happens to benefit from this gear advantage. When MoP hits, everything might be different. Mages and boomkins might become #1 and at that time Horde has the advantage. So alliance has a advantage.

despite the replies, the real answer is a very simple "because there's more Alliance in queue than there are Horde".Since the gear is near balanced then why are horde queues instant while alliance queues are 15min long?
Hey hey. I can assure you some people really look like a Troll, Goblin, Orc or Tauren.despite the replies, the real answer is a very simple "because there's more Alliance in queue than there are Horde".
So if you t hen asked "Why are there more Alliance than Horde?", that question is [partially] addressed in your responses. But a big part of that has nothing to do with gear. There will always be more Alliance than Horde because players "typically" roll something they can relate to....especially introverts. Its much easier to relate to a human than it is to a Tauren.
WoW has always been Alliance-heavy and always will be (imo)....which means Horde will always have shorter queues (and of course there will always be exceptions for some servers where specific player-types migrate to).

It switches at high end, when I was p2p alliance had instant ques and horde had nearly half an hour ques.Pretty sure the reason why so many people main an alliance hunter isnt because they relate to them.
Also, queues at high end are pretty much the same afaik.
