All you dodge stackers

Dude Gnomebanger, I'm super jelly of ur chest and you're prolly one of maybe one that has that chest at 10. I keep kicking myself for quitting WoW for a year because I missed out on quite a few 4.0.3 pcs before the 4.1 (or which ever patch) that upped the level reqs of all those quests. Good thing for me I have 100% of the grandfathered pre-Cata gear.

Btw, as you can see im pretty much maxed out on dodge on my level 10 wich makes your posts earlier about getting >88/89% dodge pretty much impossible unless you have that chest with 15 dodge rating Dodgeyou has

Roughly 90-90.5% is possible with ofc the best possible setup. One thing I didn't add to my calculations earlier was the 4 Agi pants over my 3 Agi ones. And the discussion I had with Dodgeyou was after I viewed his Armory when he had roughly 89.34% Dodge in his Dodge set, but he didn't have the Dodge > Chest on, he had 4 stats on iirc 6 Agi DMF Chest, which I do the same for my Dodge set. I'm not gonna go crazy deep into the discussion again, but suffice it to say, you cannot stack pure Dodge because DR hits you too hard, you have to stack almost pure Agi with a little Dodge thrown in. My previous calculations show that I should reach 90-90.5% Dodge while having somewhere in the neighborhood of 95% Crit once I'm finished with my 183+/- Agility, 8 dodge on Cloak and possibly 5 Dodge on Bracers (haven't tested the Bracers yet) set. The issue is DR is impossible to calculate accurately. On paper I would achieve about 94% Dodge with a pure Agi set but we all know DR is gonna kick my ass and drop that lower.

BTW, I also love ur sig, freaking epic!

EDIT: I should also state that my Rogue is sitting on 80% Dodge with NO Dodge gear (only the Cloak chant), mising the BOA Helm/BOA Cloak/Agi Bracers/Agi Pants/PvE BOA Shoulders.

EDIT2: I just checked ur Rogue again and I'm 99% positive it's because you're Dodge stacking not Agility stacking. I have almost 20 Agility more than you do NOW, let alone when I get all the gear I need I will have 30+ more than you. It's the only reason I can explain how you have 22 Dodge (I have 8) and yet you have just less than 5% more Dodge than me. DR kicks you hard in the nuts when you stack that stat. When you gain that stat via the Primary (Agility) DR doesn't hurt as bad and sometimes isn't effected at all. One example of this is when a trinket procs on tanks that are already into on say Armor DR. The trink procs and they get the FULL value of that stat even though they're already into DR. That's because they're getting the stat via another means, otherwise those types of trinkets/ability procs would be worthless once you hit DR.

Im gonna stick with the Dodge gear, Ive been toying with my gear set, and not seeing where adding an agi piece in place of a dodge piece will increase dodge chance. With your higher amount of agi that you can get because of some of your gear, Wingblade etc, finding that magic combo might be possible for you, but I wouldnt count on it.

You all have convinced me to get un-retire a old rogue I had. Prepare for hell as I get them ready
<
GF'd gear and all.

Who you gonna unleash hell on, the local lowbies on your server? 10s dont get BGs for XPoff so it wont be us lol.

Point, I will agree that to attain what I believe is possible would require a person to have 100% grandfathered gear and access to all BOA pcs. Without grandfathered gear I can see how mid 80's is even pushing the limit.

Medivh sometimes get some random un-prepared Wargames.

And if we could start promoting weekly games, we could get some.

Btw, best you can get without GF I think. NE Rogue. (Considering you got a BoA Cloak+12dodge)

The difference between GF and Non-GF is really small when it comes to max dodge.

Appart from wingblade and Talonstrike, which is 6 additional agi, and GotM which is 1 additional agi. Overall, full GF Dodge is only 7 more agi.

Frontier Britches (3) < Grizzly Pants of Agility (4)

Beastmaster Girdle (5) < Bard's Belt of Defense (3 Dodge)

Savannah Bracers (0) < Bard's bracers of Agility (2)

Ring of Scorn/Minor Channeling Ring (0) < The 1 Ring (1)

Non GF'd (With +12Dodge Cloak).

(Without +12Dodge Cloak, Agi Cloak+Stealth instead) is about 1% less

With GF (With +12Dodge Cloak).

(Without +12Dodge Cloak, Agi Cloak+Stealth instead) about 1% less

Always go NE for max Dodge. Go either BE/Gob/Troll if horde. (The GF'd with cloak goes down when one of these horde race)

P.S: Chardev actual rating are wrong, this is not 100% accurate. This is simply to show max dodge gear.

EDIT: The +15 Dodge chest enchant, was the SSO enchant chest in BC. All Chest enchant were then changed to +16. +16 Is now level 25+. Yet, if you got +15 Dodge from the SSO chest enchant, the enchant is still +15 not +16 and so it's not level 25+. Probably just a fix Blizz hasn't done.

Ya, I did a Chardev a few min ago to debate the topic on the main page about changing the brackets, and the chardev stats were close, but not correct. Best I can tell Chardev doesnt take into consideration DR.

Chardev is definitely wrong and it certainly doesn't calculate DR as shown by Dodgeyou's and leotseddap's Armory with their Dodge gear on, neither even attained 90%. Both had 22/32 Dodge respectively, 1 had GF'd gear, the other didn't. Compare that with my Rogue which is sadly unfinished but 100% GF'd gear and the fact that I am taking the route of stacking Agi instead Dodge and it shows that Dodge stacking simply won't cut it due to DR. Based on best guess math, it looks like 90-90.5% is the absolute highest Dodge rating a 10 Rogue can achieve at this point. Dodgeyou has attained barely short of 90% and leotsedap got just over 85%, my Rogue at 80%. I have only 8 dodge on my gear compared to their 22/32, but I also have 20-25 more Agility than either of them. Fully done my Dodge will increase by 5 and my Agility by about 17 (with Sinister Calling), leotseddap says he only has 6 Agi left b4 he's done, and I'm not sure on Dodgeyou, probably the same Agi left as leotseddap as both are very similarly geared. I wish I could just go purchase the BOA's now and end this discussion (because I'd really love to know if I'm taking the most correct path with DR) but alas the guild I'm in is only level 6, so it's gonna be a bit.

EDIT: I've been searching to no avail trying to find a formula for DR for level 10 Rogues. Every site is either 80/85 calculations (like EJ) or 60/70/80/85 (Wiki) for generic DR.

Oh, BTW Heasdstrong, I was meaning to tell you that once my twinks are completely done (all BOA's I want + Ally gear) I plan to Realm change them (not moving my mains again, too expensive and I like my Realm for raiding) to a Realm, possibly yours, that I can at least get some 10 PvP action (I'm staying Horde, yes at great cost of Faction/Realm changing multiple times). That would mean you would gain some direct competition, although only me, and maybe help bring some more action to the 10's circuit.

12 dodge to cloak is also GFed. unless you have a scroll made prior to the ninja nerf of the actual enchant.

Happily for a Sub Rogue, Stealth enchant is really not a big lose in term of Dodge % =)

Btw, I thought I made that clear, but i've seen some, Chardev is OBVIOUSLY wrong, it's just to show max dodge set for those wondering =D

Argh, my dodge is above 90% with all gear on, keep saying shoulders werent equipped lol. I put my shoulders back on to get the full stats, and my dodge is 90.63%. Check the armory if you want.
