All you dodge stackers

the thing is on 10s there is supposed to be diminshing returns for some stats, but after you get over 80% stats can sometimes get a bit glitchy and small increase in stats can sometimes give you an unexpected jump.

I know about it getting glitchy but 6 agi more stands for 4,01% dodge above 80% sounds silly and not really realistic. Reason i want to see dodgeyou his gear and i expect him to talk bullox about his dodge looking at my own rogue. It seems not possible. But lets see his dodge gear, like i said i could have missed something ^^

yeah he is prob BSing lol

i tell some nublets that my attack speed is .38 on my hunter, and i have a SS but it was with the fire festival haste buff

My 10 Rogue sits at just over 80% crit and 80% dodge (unbuffed) in full grandfathered gear but no heirloom cloak or helm. He also doesn't have any "dodge" boe's, nor do I have 5 dodge on bracers and the bracers he has are 2 stam instead of the 2 agi boe's. I also haven't done my faction change to get the blue boots in darkshore. With the BOA helm/cloak, the darkshore boots, "of agility" bracers with 5 dodge on them, the one ring instead of ring of scorn (I have it just haven't equipped yet), the PvE BOA shoulders instead of the PvP ones, and 4 agi pot, he should have no problem reaching at or very very close to 100% crit and dodge... Too bad I didn't faction change him back when you could do the quest that gave you Minor Channeling Ring. The 4 crit on that would have been amazing.

Lol, I just got back to WoW less than 2 weeks ago after a year away. Even leveling my 80's to 85 it's slow going getting the rep I need to purchase the cloak/helm BOA's and I troll the AH every single day for the 2 Agi bracers. Since I have no highbees on Alliance and my server is garbage for twinks I need to finish each one b3fore faction changing as I will likely have to solo that shit to get the boots/cloak/belt for my 6 twinks, not to mention the sheer cost.

create your own guild. Put all your toons in it. Pay for a guild faction change. i think you can do that, right?

I have my own Twink Guild, all but 1 of my toons are in it (14 toons on two accounts lol). Yes you can faction change the Guild with the GM, no you have to pay for EVERY SINGLE toon after that. All in all it would cost me more to do it that way than to xfer them one by one, besides my realm sucks for twinking, I'm pretty much it Horde side with my 6-10's. So after I get everything Horde side with the help of my highbies, I'm going to faction change to Alliance for the few pcs there, then faction/realm change back to a server that actually has active 10 twinks on it.

You must not have read the details of this service, it only xfers the GM of the guild along with the guild's bank, achievements and rank.

any other players in the guild will have to pay their own individual xfers, the advantage only being that when they xfer they can maintain their guild rep on the new server.

I am not BSing, logged out in Dodge gear now, check armory.

6 months prior to WOTLK, I had 104% dodge chance, unbuffed. Gotta love nerfs.

Dodgeyou, I bet I know why you are stuck around 89% dodge with your gear where I still have a decent amount of room to grow in mine and am just over 80%. You stack Dodge, I stack Agility. In your Dodge gear you only have 129 Agility and ~63% crit. I have just shy of 180 Agility with just over 80% Dodge and 80% crit. The problem with stacking Dodge itself is DR. When you stack Agility DR doesn't hit you as hard or as early because DR is lowering the value of that particular stat (Dodge). Since Rogues get such a tremendous amount of Dodge from Agility, I went that route and so far it's working like a champ. On the upside to Agility stacking to reach high Dodge values I'm also getting a HUGE damage increase. Once I get the BOA Helm/Cloak and Bracers 'of Agility', toss on my One Ring in place of Ring of Scorn, change to PvE BOA Shoulders, etc I will see what Dodge I reach, though it's gonna take me a few weeks as the Guild I'm in is newly formed and I'm still not even friendly (just got back to WoW <2 weeks ago).

Dodge rating gives more dodge% then agility. If you look at my dps set, which I was wearing when I first posted in this thread and was asked about my dodge gear, My dodge chance is 76% with no shoulders equipped. Its called a Dodge set for a reason, to get as much Dodge as possible.

Mind providing a link to your rogue?

Dodge rating gives more dodge% then agility

Lol really? Duh Dodge gives more Dodge than Agility, however it does NOT give more Dodge than Agility when diminishing returns kicks in for the stat Dodge (been tanking end game since TBC, I know all about Blizz's DR). The way you get around DR, at least a little, is to stack a primary stat that gives the secondary stat you want, Agility for Dodge/Crit, Strength for Block/Parry, etc. There is often little and sometimes no DR effect of the secondary stat gained from the primary stat. An example of this is on my 10 Hunter. If I stack Dodge my total % is less than if I stack Agility with a little bit of Dodge, arguably it's a small difference, something around 2-3, but a gain is a gain.

EDIT: Sorry didn't see the second part of your post, here's my still unfinished Rogue and I can tell you armory is not 100% accurate, I guarantee I'm over 80% Dodge and Crit unbuffed. His trinkets (both the haste BOA's) are currently on another toon.

EDIT2: I'm after the same goal as you, I'm trying to see if it's actually possible to reach 100% Dodge (I'm also going for 100% crit) unbuffed since the Dodge DR nerf. My tactic is just different in that I'm trying to reach it with main stat > secondary stat and hoping to avoid the nasty DR nerfbat.

All I care about is that base number. In combat, yes, it might make a difference, but that isnt the discussion here. As for obtaining 100% its not doable unbuffed right now. It was pre WOTLK before they nerfed low lvl enchants and some gear. Same with 100% crit chance. Ive had 117% crit, it was doable once, not now tho.

I know when Blizz did it, I have had my Rogue for like 3 years, and reaching 100% IS the topic, whether it's in combat (fully buffed) or not (unbuffed), that is what people are trying to determine. It will take me some weeks to get the Helm/Cloak/PvE Shoulder BOA's and hopefully not that long to get an 'of Agility' Bracer. It will probably take me much longer to Faction change for the boots (3 more crit), so once I get all that stuff I will revisit just how high one can achieve with the practice of main stat to gain secondary stat with a little of the secondary stat thrown in, but I can already see both being just over 90% and hopefully closer to 95%, then add a few personal buffs and blam 100%. But only time will tell, it kills me that I left wow for a while as all 6 of my 10's would be so much closer to finished by now.

Well, I wish you luck with that. From what Im understanding you are saying though, you are gonna add BoA helm/cloak/and shoulders, and gain at best 15 agi. 15 agi will not get you over 90%.it will give u <4% dodge. As for buffed vs unbuffed, who cares if you hit 100% buffed? its buffs, not base stats. You wanna hit it buffed? pop evasion, congrats, your over 100%. Its established you can hit it buffed, now try and hit it unbuffed.

Yes with all the changes and additions I will get at best 15 Agility but am gonna try the 5 Dodge chant to Bracers as well. That would put me at +/- 187 Agility with an additional 5 Dodge and 6 Crit (unbuffed values). The Agility bonus + 6 Crit should easily net me very close to 100% Crit, the Agi + 5 Dodge hopefully will net me low to mid 90's, but since it's not something math can solve because we don't know exactly the number value Blizz devs put on DR and how fast it ramps up to infinity I'll have to wait until I actually have the gear and test it. In any case I will have created the highest damage capable Rogue (as far as Subtlety goes) with an insanely high unbuffed Crit and Dodge value and it's all in fun anyway, pushing the limits of what one can and cannot do.

+6 Crit = 11.145 Crit Rating.

+15 Agility = 4.5 Crit Rating [1 = 0.30] & 3.15 Dodge Rating [1 = 0.21(I'm already at DR for Dodge at roughly ~80%, no known Crit DR)].

+5 Dodge = 9.418% Dodge Rating (before DR).

With the above numbers (and since there's no formula that can 100% determine the post Dodge %, I'm guessing there) I should come up with ~96% Crit and ~90% Dodge fully unbuffed. Yes it's not 100%-100% but it's damn close and far higher than most Twinks ever achieve as well as shows the true limits of the post nerf Rogue Dodge Twinks. The +4 Agi pot would close me in on about ~97% Crit and 90.5% Dodge.

EDIT: Getting 100% Crit is super easy, all I would have to do is change a few pcs to have +crit on them considering 1 Crit is worth slightly more than the crit from 6 Agi. So if I changed to dual Balanced Heartseekers (4.32% Crit) vs 2.4% crit from the Agi on my weapons now, changed to the BOA gun (which I do have on my Warrior) that'd be 1.86% crit vs 0.6% now, etc. That ~96% could easily be 100% at a loss to Dodge, which is my goal, to see how high I can raise BOTH simultaneously. So 100% Crit unbuffed IS achievable, 100% Dodge doesn't look to be but over 90% unbuffed DOES seem possible, it all depends on how hard DR hits me since I'm using Agi to gain Dodge mostly with only a little actual Dodge stacking.
