yes slacking is a problem, but it happens, we've all done it we're only human. So my point is, recount and scoreboards shouldn't be taken as serious as some [most] do.
also, there's only one way a pw: shield can be wasted and that's purged. If someone has weakened soul it means 3 things, purge, they still have it active, or the absorb was used.
When I last played [mop] most shaman didn't purge, they were to busy padding meters. And some of them are on these lists.
its always been the same even in pve. You always get that "awesome" dps who's to pro to switch to adds.
edit: your point about bubbling dots is right, but it would not be a waste, just not optimal use of abilitys.
I agree with your points, however the pertinent one to menizi's healing ability in the gulch ( which is where this whole discussion started on page 4 or 5 if I remember correctly lmao ) is his healing %. As I stated before, he spends a lot of time flash healing and penancing, and bubbles only when he needs to. As a fellow healer, this is not only noticeable after the match by looking at the % healing done by each of his abilities, but during the match by the fact that when you enveloping a target that is being bursted, and you see a bubble go up on him when he is at 500 hp, allowing your enveloping to continue to tick, allowing your other healer to get a hardcast in there as well, then you know that he is using his bubbles optimally, and being a much more useful healer than if he was just spamming bubbles to absorb dots and to top the charts.
