Nobody respects each other. We all live in our own little worlds and marriages last all but a few years before divorce. Cars used to look good, roads were smooth, beaches were clean, we weren’t overweight, and music had poetry.
Concern and respect for human life is at an all time low. And can you blame em? Everyone is glued to their screens. We’ve all seen the worst films imaginable and our senses have dulled.
Let me say something for all the selfish slimes who wish to commit to a shooting. Turn the gun around and start with yourself.
As for gun control? No. I mean sure we need some obviously so a firearm can be sold to someone responsible. But history has shown us in less than a century on multiple occasions that a society without arms is defenseless against tyranny.
How much tyranny has been caused in any western society in which guns have been necessary? Let's not pretend that the 2nd amendment right was made at a time where it made sense, but is highly outdated. The US is a rather "new" nation all in all if you look at it from a general perspective. It made sense to carry arms in early settlement, but now? It literally makes 0 sense. Australia used to have guns easily available to them (fully automatic etc.), similar to how the US have it now. By invoking strict gun laws and regulations, mass shootings have dropped SIGNIFICANTLY. Refer to the gun regulation of Australia in 1996.
In Australia, there has been as little as ZERO mass shootings (mass being defined as more than 4 victims). Imagine, ZERO since 1996? I wonder how many there has been in the US since 1996 till present day.
Before Australia invoked their new gun laws, there had been 13 mass shootings during the previous 18 years. Not only did mass shootings literally disappear, homicide rates by guns also declined drastically.
I chose Australia as an example, because they literally used to follow the US pattern of how guns were highly available to the general public, and then suddenly guns weren't easily accessible. It's the easiest example to follow.
Other than that, look at other gun-related crime rates in every other country where firearms aren't easy to come by. There is literally no reason as to why a civilian would need a fully automatic weapon in their home. The tyranny argument is as ridiculous as any of the other conspiracy theories out there.
And if you (talking to the general people here) want a more comedic, but highly relevant, message of the same sort, watch this (I bet a lot of you have already):
