EU 5-manning raids

Hi!

This thread will be used as my sort of blog, updated every once in a while to show our progress. This includes kills, the video of the kill, and the parses (Mind you we relog a log, and forget to restart the parses. Cause yes I'm dumb like that.)

We raid on Tuesday evenings for about 3 to 4 hours, and on any other possible time together (usually Saturdays).

Really neat stuff. This is the content I miss, and the content that could get me interested in 70s again.
 
Just want to say I love these videos. Do you think Kael'thas is doable with 5? Seems to me the CC that the 4 advisors throw out might be a bit troublesome.

Out of curiosity, do you think the team you're going with is the most optimal for this, or are you guys just playing your favourite classes? Or a bit of both, most likely? What class, if BiS geared, do you think would improve your team?

Kael'thas is doable 5-man, absolutely. It's not easy though.
(Edit: Never mind! Since then, we've gotten to the mind control phase more consistently. Seems like MC is bugged, and can't be dispelled with the dagger no matter how much you try. Sad days.)

The team is absolutely optimal (Except gear. Cause my bloody shoulders will not drop. ARGH). But yes, we are mostly BiS.
We are not optimal for absolutely every boss, but we have some people who play multiple classes. Like I have a warrior and druid, they have some other classes spare.

This is to easy, BTW you can use arp weapons that removes 30-40% of all raid bosses armor. Will help alot on those who are almost not doable.


I've been working on this concept at 60 content. Sadly most of bosses are adjusted so u can't 5 man all due to silence etc

That's a shame. Is the MC immunable or removable via Bubble/Blessing of Spellwarding/Ice Block? Or is it applied too often for those abilities to matter? You guys are alliance, so being Undead isn't an option I guess.

I remember when soloing him was actually challenging years ago, I was trying on my hunter and was forced to LoS him behind a pillar to avoid the MC and therefore fight reset, letting my pet tank him. If you can clear/prevent the MC with an immunity, you can maybe LoS as the MC is about to be cast so you can somewhat control who gets MCed.

In any case, GL with this and other fights. Looking forward to more vids :).
 
I really love the idea of trying to 5-man this content. If this project is still happening, I would love to see more videos.
