Yes. I hope more top RBG teams compete in the Twink Cup, other than just Team Abn.

Agreed, I'd love to see the russian meta applied to 19s. Eheroes should also make a Twink Cup team

No. The rbg tourney has been a shitshow (Atleast the games I saw lastnight were) they were awful at enforcing their own rules and staying consistent with their own rules

What? Explain.

Well I noticed that the Russians method of target calling isn't like what the other guys were doing, they seemed to have multiple mini kill teams, this was especially the case in gilneas. It seemed a lot more complex than everyone else and the pressure they put out was insane because of it.

Hey can we pleassssee get official rules for the tournament regarding class restrictions, amount of stealthies, ferals, etc?? Really would like to know so we can start theorizing comps n whatnot.

Why should there be any rules on class composition? There could very well be significant balance shifts in the next five and a half months. Let teams roll and run what they think will give them the best chance to win. Same goes for healer, tank spec, and stealth limits.

Let's face it, these and other limits have come around because certain guilds have people playing certain classes and have certain ways they like to play WSG. It just so happens that these limits enforce their way of playing. A tournament like this should have a more open style that invites innovation and new strategies from the teams that wish to enter.

Myrm obviously has the final word on comp limits and other limits, and he still has tons of time to firmly establish these limits whilst still giving a long preparation period, but there are definitely things to be considered.

I agree completely actually, I was just assuming there would be a set of rules and regulations. I'm all about letting teams run what they want though. It's the right way to do it. I just want clarification either way so I know my team is practicing the right thing

I didn't mean to imply that you thought differently - you just happened to be the author of the post above mine. :D

Double shocker! A) because you and I agreed for once and b) because others actually recognize that it should be more open and teams are abusing rules to enforce their preferred style of play. A ton of the current ayers lack the ability to adapt, and if they're forced to learn that we'll all have a much richer experience,

Dorygoon was simply stating that things could change in 5 months so no rules should be established CURRENTLY.

Pretty obvious you stopped reading after first paragraph. I was responding to his second paragraph. Read and you'll see my response was on point.

You can't adapt to a feral one shot and they're actually getting buffed in the next patch. I don't know why you assume everybody is trying to bend rules to their favor. Honestly, I could care less about any type of class limit as long as ferals are banned in their current state. By all means, if they're nerfed to where they can't one shot an FC with stacks then I'm all for allowing them. And dont give me the "skill ratio doesn't have a good feral" argument because KO can play feral better than anyone if he chose, however he prefers to play boomkin.

Well regarding feral one perspective is that it would force teams to do things drastically diff than sitting mid with Fc behind them...maybe moving/kiting defenses instead. I mean I know that's difficult at 6 stacks but in the end someone is going to win...which means there's better/worse strats. If both treats get returned them stacks reset. Or teams move more to get Fc across while stopping efc from crossing strats instead of middle push 5 buttons mash with fc's more often than not crossing unmolested.
So yeah, banning ferals supports current middle fighting "meta". Regardless of your point about being op at returning with bite.

id rather see a feral 1 shot at some point than see a team turtle the whole game honestly. im thinking less rules like 2 comp rules. 2 of a class and possibly a stealth limit but i dont think its needed

i wouldnt want a feral over a boomkin in the gulch anyway. the boomkin can go feral mode to 5pt bite the efc and teamfight while a feral is only a feral.

also rogues can 1 shot efcs at stacks

EVERY game would be a turtle on roof to prevent the feral getting up. At that rate the rbg heros wouldn't even enter the tournament this year. Just a little turtle after they got capped on with 5 minutes left was enough to have them complaining about how we turtled the ENTIRE game. And come on, think of the community nasti... would you really rob the people of the opportunity to listen to the rbgers call each other mongoloids after losing to us again? Think of the twinks!
