Any additional information available on whether Gamers-League will be involved in the Twink Cup or not?
Also, when in June will team signups start?
Gamers-League is still currently set to stream the WSG part of the tournament. The arena tournament is being moved and will likely happen about 2 weeks before the WSG tournament, with sign ups ending on the Friday 2 weeks before the tournament. This is being done so that Gamers-League will have a finalized bracket for the WSG tournament to help them prepare the stream, and so that the entire weekend can be devoted to the WSG tournament. There probably won't be an official stream for the 3v3 tournament, but anyone that wants to stream the games will be free to do so.
Sign ups will start 2-3 weeks from now, teams should have about a month to submit their rosters.
Arena 3v3 should be community based chosen mirrors.. thoughts on this?

They consist of 3 members of the same wsg team afaik. The winner of arena tourny will get the best seating in the wsg tourny. Is the 3v3 arena tourney open to anyone or do they have to have a wsg team and/or consist of 3 members of the same wsg team?

First off, it's moronic to have arenas deciding WSG seeding. At most the winner should get a free first round bye and the others are seeded appropriate based off some set up WSG skrims before the cup, like a round robin the week before.
Secondly, mirrors are the best way to determine who is truly better in arena, period. Let's not have a boring arena tournament with comp countering and 1 shot burst comps to determine "skill".
Overall i I really hope myrm isn't going to fail managing this tournament. A lot of people have put tons of "blood, sweat, and tears" into toons, helping out others, practice, etc.. just for this to be a giant unorganized flop.
Watched the BGs the other night with Waka Flaka and shit.
I definitely think Honeybuns should be head commentator.
Excited to watch. Hopefully these games get saved for future watching? Doubt I'll catch the streams.
So Cipe will do the commentating alongside Gamers League and another rotating member of the 19's community?I've established a method for drafting the final rules that will hopefully satisfy everyone. The Twink Cup will have a rules committee consisting of Cipe, Drugs, Kahr, justpwn, Daedricdeath, myself, and a possible 7th unconfirmed member. Pizza, Hunnybuns19, Conq and muskie will draft their ideal set of rules for the Twink Cup and submit it to the rules committee. The rules committee will compare their own ideas, the Gamers-League rulebook, the current rules, the submitted draft, and any issues that have been brought up in this and other threads, and the final set of rules will be drafted based on all of these things. The committee will be dissolved once the rules have been decided, and the rules will not change. During the tournament Cipe will speak on behalf of the Twink Cup and work alongside me with Gamers-League to try to ensure that the community is fairly represented.
More info about commentary and the stream will be posted soon.
Does anyone else think that it's stupid to have a "play of view" during the stream? You don't see anything from above.. why not just tab to different players. Also, HB commentary is probably best of all streamers, but when his camera just sits on one teams fc and nothing is happening around it.. it's just kind of useless.

I actually like the 'bird-view' style that HB is using. It gives a good feeling of the teams when they are pushing, general positioning of all players and if someone tries to brake off you can easily locate them and follow them. But combined with tabbing on different players I think it would be perfect. Like tab to rogs/balance when they are going for EFC etc.Does anyone else think that it's stupid to have a "play of view" during the stream? You mean like having them as the permanent commentator? That wouldn't work when it is their own teams playing though, better have them as one of the rotating commentators. Also not everyone is suited to commentate.Myrm,
Pizza, HB, Conq and muskie are all gleaders.. would you not benefit from having all gleaders that are participating in the tournament having a voice?
