You shouldn't be able to win a tournament based on procs...

I am simply to afraid of all the hype and that TC wont live up to the expectations

Myrm your not active enough to micromanage appropriately, I suggest you start delegating properly, I'll leave my opinions on this topic at that.

It's a tink eat tink worlde out here. Lot's of chiefs and minimal indians.

Myrm Just spectating from the sidelines but I haven't seen this question asked: What does Gamers-League get out of it?

hi, i have a couple questions about the arena tournament that aren't answered in the OP, and i don't feel like going through a thousand posts to search for them

1. it says ferals are banned in WSG, but doesn't say anything about them in arena. will they be allowed to play there?
2. if your wsg team is alliance, can the players on the arena team be horde (using the 2 character rule they'd just have one on each faction)

thanks

ferals not being banned in arena is kinda weird but that's just my opinion i guess

thanks for the answers, appreciated

It is mostly due to the impact that they have in Warsong Gulch when FCs get to high stacks.

/cheers

i understand that but they can still ferocious bite people for their entire health bar in an arena setting as well

@ Allybomaye Why would he be frustrated?

As stated months ago and I have kept stating it. We need a commitee, not just one person to run TC. When will people acknowledge this? We have many twinks that have zero interest in being in the TC that would make good candidates.

/cheers

Instead of arguing over trivial matters. We should hit the major points, one at a time. I know be me saying this isn't going to get matters done any faster. Just more so trying to deal with the matters in a orderly matter.

I know people might have beef with some issues. But as adults all we have to do is discuss about each problem to solve it. No point bringing in emotions as it can manipulate the matters at hand and cloud judgement to what is right/just thing to do/discuss about.

Remember, we are all here to make this the best twink cup possible. So there's no point going at each others throats.

/cheers

Going to quote this because it was funny and ironic that it resulted in a ban.

INB4 Ban.

Seems it was also probably influenced by this person's mocked appearence of another user on the site, if it isn't that person himself.

That's what I thought. Where on TI is the forum where they list out all the accounts that have been banned? I think there would be an explanation there...

Edit: Here is the reasoning:

Account registered through a VPN, please register using your home network IP address.

idk what that means tho lol

It means the user of the account previously got their IP banned, so they made the Allybomaye account by masking their IP on a VPN network.

will arena be 2 vs 2, 3 vs 3, or 5 vs 5 in this competiton?

curious why the prize money is all set at 1st place, why not do a 1st, 2nd, 3rd place prize system?

First of all please ban ferals in arena.

And secondly, I agree that it should be active 19 twinks from the community that should do the commenting and preferably controling the PoV's. But completely turning down the offer from Gamers-League before even discussing the terms with them would be stupid. And frankly it would make place for speculations regarding the reasons causing you to turn down the offer; like if you personally would lose something by letting Gamers-League host the TC - like you losing subs/views on your stream, losing personal control over the TC. All not very honest or legit reasons.

Not trying to insinuate anything, just giving my 0.02$

I assure you, that has absolutely nothing with the reasoning behind why he doesn't want this change. People that know HB know that he isn't a selfish person at all and rarely even streams these days, he is just looking out for the interests and conservation of the Twink Cup image. That being said, in my personal opinion, both parties are a bit too hasty to rule in or rule out the gamer' league. They should be asked to host it, then a vote should be given to the community via poll, as it has been in the past, and from there the people should decide. We want this to go as smoothly as possible and to do that we need the ENTIRE communities cooperation, as well as predetermined key community leaders to step up and participate in the decision making process, because let's be honest here. The only ones that know what is going on are the people actually playing the bracket actively and constantly playing in competitive games to keep up with the current meta. That goes for wsg and arena. Myrm is a wonderful guy and practically revived the entire bracket twice and enabled it to thrive. That end game that we so desperately cling onto should be nourished and improved on constantly.

Thanks to Myrm, for putting all this together and making this bracket we all know and love, come back from the brink of death.

Thanks to Conq, for trying to improve and gear the bracket so we have a lot less of those undergeared pugs that we have all come to hate.

Thanks to HB and Nudge for working hard on the Spectating add-on and helping to make preparations and providing input/knowledge into the best way to go about streaming/spectating/commentating the TC.

Last but not least, thanks to the entire 19 community for donating/participating and providing much needed input/incite into the Tournament that we are all participating in. The people that truly make a difference.
