EU+US 101 Twink?

Hmm I'm confused. I read in a blue post and on wowhead that items get "Titanforged" when they roll 15 ilvls or higher. The BoEs seem to be 835 baseline so they should have been titanforged at 850 right? Or is 840 the baseline and the 835s are a different version?

i think different items have different warforged/titanforged requirements. just like weve seen invasion gear to be +10/+20 warforged at level 100. boes seem to be +5 normal, +10/+15 warforged, +20 or higher titanforged
 
Just found these 870 titanforged(with a socket even!) Clauds War Ravaged Boots plate gloves on AH on my server, new drop after the raid was unlocked I have a feeling these BoEs base ilvl increases as either the expansion progresses is somehow based on the person who found it's personal iLvl

I wish I had the money for it!!!

It's very unlikely we'll ever see 895 BoEs unless the baseline ilvl of them increases (which I don't see happening) because it would require 12 +5ilvl rolls. How will keystones affect it btw?

I saw those last night for 173k :p Was so tempted to buy them but I think I'm going to behave myself for now! I'm only twinking 101 to solo WoD content and I doubt 10 ilvls will make anything else possible that I haven't done already :( Maybe with full 860/865 since that would be ~1k more strength.

Edit: Just saw this on Draenor EU for 500k buyout lel

The 1H agi maces from Brewfest (Tremendous Tankard O' Terror) are ilvl 810 and only require lvl 100 to equip.

The artifact will probably still be better for the traits/ability even though it's 40 ilvls lower, but they might be useful for any classes that want off-spec weapons (bought them to try on my frost DK, the weapon damage will hopefully make up for them not having strength).

Edit: 825 average ilvl with these equipped lol.

That's right I forgot that the previous variants were BoE. Can't find the correct Wowhead or Wowdb link, they're both still on last years version. Could be a good thing to have for Off-spec since you can't get more than a single Artifact Choice at 101. For example a Blood DK with Artifact Weapon could dual wield the Tankards for Frost.
 
Since later on in expansions, the ilvl of these types of holiday events typically go up, does that mean a 100 may be able to get 880+ gear in a couple years? That's IF they decide to keep the level requirement.

It's 1247 weapon dps vs 650 dps from the ilvl 740 you can buy from a vendor in your class hall. Without doing the maths/sims, that must be worth it :p

Edit: 355k on Fordragon EU (a russian realm I think)

I was working on a program to scan the entire EU and US auction houses (to figure out the chance of each upgrade) and I was not expecting to see this...

For those who can't read Russian (which includes me), that's an 885 strength trinket with the speed tertiary stat. The chances of that ever occurring are astronomically low and it's up for a bargain price of only 200k. Unfortunately it's on a Russian realm otherwise I'd have tried to snipe it myself :p
