EU+US 101 Twink?

This is only really important for the quests that reward relics. There's 6 that have the potential to be +10 ilvls unless I missed some (5 are blue by default, 1 is green). I took 2 DKs through them before equipping my BoEs in the hope that one would get 2 epic procs but one got 1 and the other got none.
You can level from 100 to 101 pretty fast by doing the bonus objectives in the Broken Isles since they don't give any items.
In other news, I've just unlocked the 14th AF trait on my 101 from casually doing missions (haven't done any dungeons for over a week). I have a feeling these Order Hall resources are going to run out fairly soon though and I only have 2 zones of treasure chests remaining
Also just about done with my soloing adventures - 6/7 HM, 9/10 BRF and 10/13 HFC - mostly on heroic but some on normal/mythic.

5% for full set. its worth it in pve since agi + stam gain will be more than 5%. bgs will probably gain more from the 5% than ilvl.

And as of today, we should be able to get 855-895 items. They will be more than rare and expensive as f**k. But it should be possible. If you can find one on the ah would be nice if you can link it here for comparison reasons. And because of that hopefully the prices for 835-850 will drop.

I was under the impression that the new upgrade Ranks were for the Crafted (Gravenscale / Dreadleather / etc) and Mythic+ and Legendaries, none of which a 101 can equip.

Any item that can upgrade has the potential to upgrade to the ilvl cap (which just got increased to 895). It just gets more and more unlikely the lower the base ilvl is (in this case 840) since it has to do so many +5 ilvl rolls to get there.

If anyone sees any 860+ (with socket) or 865+ (without socket) DK items on EU that they aren't buying themselves then please let me know!

Btw apparently the Potions of the Old War have been fixed - saw a screenshot of recount from a level 110 blood DK and it did 12mil damage...
Edit: Just did a burst dps test (~20secs) to see how much damage the potions do
Edit2: Saw this on Defias Brotherhood EU - currently at 201k, bid only (no I'm not buying it xD)

They will go down in price as they become less relevant for end-game raiders with new patches, but the supply might also go down with less people levelling or doing world quests (or just quitting lol).
What we need to somehow figure out is the chance for each +5 roll (if it's the same chance per roll), then we'll know the max ilvl we'll realistically see. Here's the probability of getting each item level based on different chances for the +5 ilvl roll:
My guess is it's about a 25% chance based on those numbers and what we've seen on the AH so far. Maybe we can compare the number of each ilvl seen on the AH through the Undermine Journal to estimate an actual number.
Edit: You then need to bare in mind the chance of people getting these world drop epics, the chance of getting a 101 version rather than a level scaling version, and then the chance/value of getting a socket/tertiary stat
Edit2: The above table was the cumulative probability, so like "the chance to get this ilvl or higher". This following one is the chance to get each specific ilvl (which is more useful for comparing the amount we see on the AH to find a theoretical number)

Hey all, the idea of having a 101 twink sounded pretty fun. Never having a DK before, I made a Blood DK. I noticed the killing capacity due to scaling with mobs/stats is real fast! With that being said, I might just keep this as a fun/farming character. Think it's better off keeping this guy at 101 just for that? I just need to find a sweet spot to grind for skinning. Any recommendations? My char is currently ilvl 788 right now.

Lion Seals at Challiane's Terrace in the north of Azsuna for Stonehide Leather
Crabs in Eye of Azshara (dungeon) for Stormscale, if you can solo it
Might want to also consider herbalism, it's very profitable right now. Foxflower in Highmountain, Fjarnskaggl in Stormheim, and Starlight Rose in Suramar if you have a Sky Golem and you're tank spec (or get those LW items to avoid being dismounted).
