Oh? on this private server, would I have the best gear of MY choice? the enchancts that I choose and skilled competition? If so, I'd definately try it out. Until then, something NEEDS done for shaman.

Alright... 1. Get 10 healers vs 10 hunters, see how long the FC lasts against the 10 hunters 2. Show a warrior being kited by EVERY class. 3. Show a warlock being unable to keep any melee class off of them. 4. Just write a song that politely requests that huntards do less damage :P

I have looked into both of them, enh is like a different style of warrior in a way although I will admit it is probably better than warrior in some aspects... Elemental is the best form of DPS when trying to be independant because you can keep enemies off of you. Restoration pretty much sucks...

Well, I truly love the playstyle of shaman, and I will play my shaman, (I play my shaman even more than my OP mage) but I get frustrated easily when I see a prot or ret paladin out healing me without thinking about it... when I have to use bandaids regularly as a restoration shaman *frustrated...

Purj has posted. :P Anyways... I've already begun making my paladin. I haven't given up all hope for shaman, but currently, it is not worth playing when there are classes that are roughly 3 times better.

I don't think paladin would be such a nice FC class if they didn't have Flash of Light... The problem is that the game is NOT balanced. Also, I didn't just come up with this idea willy nilly, I talked with many well known and not so well known shaman (including Purj) about how much it sucks...

As he said, currently, resto sham can't out heal being shot by even just 1 hunter, but all other healing classes could keep themselves alive while holding still until they go OOM on a 1v1 (Not counting CC in this fight, but some healers are pro enough to last even though CC) 100% I believe...

Thank you all for the support. This is still a long way away from complete though. Please ask friends and people in the BGs to assist in this thread to help push it. If we can have control over this, we could potentially balance the entire 19s bracket

Yeah, we would be almost at Par with the other healers, the advantage of shaman would be Purge and Wind Shear, making us a valuable offense healer, but we wouldn't have instant cast heals, bubbles, CD nuke heals... HoTs, etc. I am certain that this would bring a balance and not make shaman OP
