Bring Shaman back to the 19s

tbh i like the way that blizz has changed the heal system in respect to core healing spells, but i really dislike the class specific ones in various cases (wtf is with malfurions gift?!?!)

It wouldnt be possible to remove FoL from rets and prots and the same for shammy dps specs, but it would be possible to make them less powerful. If Healing surge was introduced, but was pretty unpowerful and the shammy specialisation ability was switched to rip tide then Resto shammies would still have decent burst healing with a HS+riptide combo. The same could be done for pallies by nerfing FoL hard and then buffing holy shock to compensate

Not a fan of instant heals. I like the whole, if you can get out of range/away from enemies, stay unoticed and cast these huge spells, then you get rewarded for it.

Adds something more.

I had this problem at first on my Shaman Kore, the way Shaman have to play now you need to be in a small group as said before. Your role now is to support the ones around you with either your totems or by using your Thunderstorm to knock either EFC to your team or to keep enemies off of your FC etc. I like the support play style and don't mind that I can't just pewpewpew on everyone I see, but if your caught by say a good Mage, or a good Rogue it is really tough keeping yourself alive enough to be a effective, just have to play smart and stick with a group of 3 or 4 on Offense or Defense and you'll be fine.

This is true to an extent, but i found i was a kill target when i was on O as ele and i got dropped by a 4 man D in a matter of seconds, it was a rogue, mage, holypriest, Hpala setup i think. Yes, part of it was the fact that there were several mean enemies looking at me, but i only have 1 defensive CD which is too long to be usable when i need it and then when i need to heal i am stuck with healing wave.

Yea that's true and it does suck when you keep getting focused like that, but honestly even if you have a 1.5 Sec casted heal if the enemies want to single you out like that it's not going to save you. You might live for 1.5sec longer lol but in the end if you're being bullied you're being bullied. The way I look at it when that happens is they are just threatened and maybe I should if possible try sniping or politely ask my healer for a little more support to help get the flag back, either way this happens to all classes regardless of defensive CDs or healing power. Focusing people down is effective, to combat it next time have your group focus their best DPS and try to down him/her asap probably the only way you're going to live through it. I do feel your pain though that is annoying as hell when it happens to me.

Also it's a really big let down that Blizzard can't even make a post saying that they have read the posts and sigs and are reviewing it.

Shamans are really effective when you travel in a small pack, specifically with guild members or some kind of group that consists of a healer. Both Elemental and Enhance seem to be great when doing this (for me at least). Resto is just a pointless spec at the moment Doctor, just try out Elemental or Enhance before giving up on the class completely. Both specs are amazing compared to the struggles Resto comes with.

I have looked into both of them, enh is like a different style of warrior in a way although I will admit it is probably better than warrior in some aspects... Elemental is the best form of DPS when trying to be independant because you can keep enemies off of you. Restoration pretty much sucks, it has some good survivability, trash DPS but it is what I like best. I wouldn't give up on shaman without trying, but I've been a healer forever and I would hate to be a non-healer. (Although I do have a mage, but not for dealing damage)

Thanks for the advice though.

... I was trying to live, thats the sad part... Also, should I work on a video showing a paladin FCing and living against 5 guys vs. a shaman being killed in 2 explosive shots?

That would be funny if people on Twinkinfo compiled clips from WSG to make a video expose of imbalance at 19 as part of Kore's lobbying campaign.

okay guys, this is what i am going to do. i will make a video of the warsong gulch imbalance, any ideas as to how to achieve this most effectively? also, you want me to attempt to solo some dungeons on the more OP classes? i imagine a 19 rofladin can solo DM..

will do all of the above =)

okay, anybody who knows if i have to download full version to get 30seconds+ video? ^^
