Maybe item recovery tool will work when the time comes. I have a feeling everyone should be prepared for level requirements to be the last thing they implement BTW. That's what happened when they implemented scaling in Legion.

Pretty sure there are a bunch of 1s with Draenor cooking, I've only got Pandaria up to 50/75.

You don't need a fishing skill to use the Hyper-Compressed Ocean, but your fishing skill does affect drop rates. This makes catching Ironjaw or Crafty at LVL1 around 20 times harder than normal. That's a tragedy. I was gonna go for that in a week or so when BC timewalking comes up. Got 1000...

Frozenwill and I just discovered that AGMs no longer block damage in duels when used on a level 1. Pretty sad days. Both spells and melee hits aren't blocked at all. Can we get some Fs? Edit: Still works against mobs, seems to be exclusively removed for PVP.

As far as I know, it was never possible. 1s can fish through the Hyper-compressed Ocean toy, but that's it.

I still check in every day or so to see what's up, but haven't been active in lvl 1 at all since Classic came out.

I've never trained battle pets, but I think you can complete the celestial tournament at level 1 which rewards Timeless Coins. Might not be GF'd yet :)

These aren't lootable by level 1s any more unfortunately. I don't know when they changed it, but word was going around a good few months ago now. I tested it last patch with a batch of 5 fish and none of the drops were lootable on the level 1 and BoPs can't be traded from those mobs any more.
