If you are playing a hunter, you can track stealthed players making it much easier to see them. Also if you are playing a hunter then check out the anti stealth macro, its very easy to spam if you notice someone stealthing and will allow you to open up on a rogue before they sap you. If you are not a hunter, then idk.

Two things happened:

While on my hunter, I was running up the tunnel and saw a stealthed cat druid. I put hunter's mark on him and was able to easily get AS off, as I don't think he knew i saw him (and, I dunno, didn't notice the giant red arrow above his head). Like, I saw him . . not him as a dot on the map from hunter trakcing.

While on my lvl 17 druid, a lvl 15 rogue was able to sap me. Even tho I was stealhed. The 15 could've been p2p and had some kind of anti-stealth ability.


So maybe just druid stealth has been nerfed?

Druid stealth has never felt as strong as rogue stealth to me.
But thats just my feeling and expirience.

Track Hidden has improved stealth detection at least since BC. It is not a nerf or prowl being bad, it's just a buff to low level hunters who now pretty much counter rogues.

To clear up this stealth-madness:

Feral Instinct is a passive ability only FERAL druids get (at lvl 14) which improves Prowl's stealth-lvl to the same as a rogue's. All other druid specs don't have this passive, so their prowl is 'weaker' and more easily detectable.

"Cat Druid" and "lvl 17 druid" (as stated by Wih) is rather vague, I can only assume that your lvl 17 druid was not feral and well, I don't know what's the problem with the 'Cat Druid' you saw him stealthing, and then?



edit: and something about stealth-detection: if you (not stealthed) stand around and a rogue comes from up front, it's easier to see him, if he's coming from behind it's harder - at least 1 good thing Blizzard programmed in the last 8 years

Yeah, I dnk that about ferals, ty.

I've noticed being able to sometimes see stealthed rogues in recent months, but thought it was a change. Like, maybe a change to ass rogues and whatever their 3 second extra stealth ability is called. Guess not though.


I typed 'cat druid' b/c I ws too lazy to type druid in stealth.
 
There are also macros that kind of cheat stealth - I've noticed them used more frequently in the past few months.
 
I think there is something in the macro section if you want to see how the cheaters do it. I'm far too noble to use them myself. Or too lazy.
I was screwing around on my druid that has become the chest farmer and displacer beast doesn't work like vanish and dump aggro. I was a little disappointed. I was hoping to have to aggro dumps, shadowmeld and displacer beast for creeping around the chest spawns.
 
Yeah, I'm both too lazy or noble to use addons or macros as well.


Not really a f2p question, but around MoP launch my capslock key minimizes the Wow screen. It's very frustrating. I tried keybinding it, but that didn't work. It's probably a problem of my not being very computer savvy.




Anybody else unable to retrieve the lobsters from SW's Rock Lobster fishing daily? (ugh, I hate the B52s)
 
Cap lock and number lock both minimize my windowed wow screen. Happened like you describe. Don't know how to fix it.

Haven't had any problems with the lobsters, is this a very recent problem?

I have noticed weird crz things in stormwind and Ogrimmar. When I have to fish with the stag eye(Ogrimmar fishing daily) my first cast doesn't do anything. It is like I don't actually zone in until the second cast
 
His mage got it. :)

No guarantees where WBFH is concerned, sadly, just as with LFH.
