20s Guide Index and FAQ - Read Before Posting New Threads

Im very new so this might be a stupid question.
I have a level 50 that is boosting my other account, where my level 20 XPOFF char is. I am trying to find the socket gear posted in the guides from TBC. Ive done so many runs (about 100 so far) in both blood furnace and Auchenai crypts and havent found a single socket piece yet, only all the other stuff drops Ive seen plate with sockets on but not a single leather piece. Am i beeing extremely unlucky or am i doing something wrong ? Thanks in advance for any replies.

That sounds like some EXTREME bad luck. TBC bosses have massive loot tables, so it could take a long while to get the piece you need. It's not uncommon to see 20-30 runs before a piece drops. But 100 in each dungeon? That sucks man.

After i wrote this post 1'st one dropped. it was 50 each dungeon, 100 total, but still, must have been bad luck.
Maby you could help me with another question. Ive startet to farm abit in legion on a level 25 char. I get greenies, also with sockets but they are all required level 19 and not 20 but still ilvl 28. I turned my xp off so I wouldn't get to 26 (read somewhere to farm at level 25) Should i go higher to get the level 20 gear, maby level 26 ?

Does anyone know how can I get the Crow Wing Reaper axe as a surv hunter? 2H axes do not drop for the class, but I've seen hunters with that weapon. Thank you.

oh drats, guess you cant play a hunter then...

(if you get carried by a high level buddy or dual box it with your 60 you trigger "legacy loot" that causes bosses to drop anything on their loot table)

I asked this question in another thread which is "Some of the gear have level 24 or level 25 requirements. Is it still possible to wear these types of gear or are they like grandfathered already?" I've read these guides so many times. I even used searched on my browser for the word "require" and I still don't see an answer. Can someone help me?

Thanks.

Gonna bump this back to the homepage with a request.

I've been slacking on keeping the guide list up-to-date. I *know* I've missed a few.

Would you all please respond with guides that got written (theres a very concise farming guide I think I missed, for example?) that arent on the list, as well as any threads with stat discussions that you think might be useful. And I mean threads that start and stay on topic as stat discussions, not long ass derails or discussions buried in threads that started as something else (however useful they may be). Beginner friendly is first prio here.
