Then why exactly are you here, again?

And how does this fit the subforum "General WoW"?

And why exactly do we need yet another one of these posts by one of the same 3-4 users who always QQ?

WTB people posting things in the correct sub forum to begin with, instead of people constantly posting them in WoW forums.

The hilarious fact is, with all these open threads by the same handful of people complaining about mods on a power trip...

I don't see any of them being banned, deleted, etc. Which is pretty par the course for posting those kind of threads repeatedly in the wrong section. ;)

You have voiced your opinion about this forum in countless threads.

What are you trying to achieve by provoking admins and mods even further?
I don't think he's trying to provoke I think the narrative they are going with wants something to defend against the emperical data the staff has so they want a community poll, at least this one is far more intellectually honest than the one made right before it.

But tell me, is it only exciting to you when there is name calling, trolling, flamefests, and hostility?

Because that's what a lot are hinting at (And some directly stating.).

That is just the issue, a poll is being used as some sort of research survey, only with two options, no anonymity, and no depth. We can't ask why it's enjoyed or isn't, we can't ask questions on top of those reasons, and we can't protect against trolls and people who just want to bandwagon, we also scare new users from posting it it by lack of anonymity, the elitism currently permitting or community may discourage some from voting in such a public fashion. I think the thread has good intentions but definitely misses the intellectual bar for going toe to toe with actual statistically significant data

And thus, contributes to the problem and offers no solutions. No matter how you look at it.

I had a discussion about this yesterday, the problem is the mentality on both sides of the argument, it can't be us vs them, it has to be both sides coming together to lift the community up, both sides have to be willing to figure that out together, it can't be done with just the user base, or the staff by themselves. The community has to be bread and the staff should be butter.

Agreed entirely. And I'd love to be part of the solution, and see things be amicable.

But the toxicity needs to stop, and people need to work together. It can't just be thread after thread of either whining with no ideas on a solution, and it can't just be people against eachother.

I agree that some form of consensus within the communities that respects culture of brackets should be established without allowing garbage to be the topping on the "vanilla ice cream" but first the tone of the conversation needs to change, I'm not staff anymore but staff members should not be posting on threads like these, the fire will burn out on its own while the staff is ideally improving the website in other ways, that is my opinion.

you're all against our vision as well, why do you feel the need to act like you're in the right with your "no toxic behavior is the way"

How exactly is it in the right to be in favor of toxic behavior?

And how exactly is that a good "vision", to be in favor of such?

Too many are treating this like some sort of coup or revolution. It's a forum, not a government.
