Hello Everyone!

Now that we know that the season ends this December 13th, I would like to announce the End of Season Rewards for the level 19, 20, 29, 39, 60, 70, and 79 brackets.

Ladder Rewards:

For each bracket and region:

Top 3 Ranked Players (2000 rating minimum) - [Title] Gladiator
Top 10 Ranked Players (1900 rating minimum) - Gladiator
Top 20 Ranked Players (1800 rating minimum) - Duelist
Top 35 Ranked Players (1700 rating minimum) - Rival
Top 50 Ranked Players (1600 rating minimum) - Challenger

Class Rewards:

For each Class in each bracket and region:

Top 2 of each Class (100 total games played minimum) - Class Mastery

Ladder Rank: EU and US will have separate rewards

The top 3 players in each bracket with at least a rating of 2000 will be eligible for the [Season Title] Gladiator title, with a corresponding badge for XPOff's Season 1 and access to the Exclusive Chat Lounge.

The top 10 players in each bracket with at least a rating of 1900 will be eligible for the Gladiator title, with a corresponding badge for XPOff's Season 1.

The top 20 players in each bracket with at least a rating of 1800 will be eligible for the Duelist title, with a corresponding badge for XPOff's Season 1.

The top 35 players in each bracket with at least a rating of 1700 will be eligible for the Rival title, with a corresponding badge for XPOff's Season 1.

The top 50 players in each bracket with at least a rating of 1600 will be eligible for the Challenger title, with a corresponding badge for XPOff's Season 1.

Each XPOff account claiming a character on the ladder will have to verify that character through our Character Verification process, and each account will only be eligible for one Ladder Rank badge per bracket.

Class Rank: US and EU have separate rewards

The top 2 players with each individual class with at least 100 games played total on their character will be eligible for a Class Award, with a corresponding badge that will be dated but not marked for each season.

The same as above, these characters will have to be verified before they are linked to an account.


Notes:

[Season Title] Gladiator refers to the endgame Arena Season, which all have names such as Wrathful, Cataclysmic, etc. This is the only badge that allows access to the Exclusive XPOff Chat Lounge, has a golden color, and changes your name color.

The Top 3 Ranked Players earn this reward because a 3v3 team that managed to place themselves all at the top of the ladder should all be rewarded equally. You shouldn't compete with your teammates.

Each account will earn the badge corresponding to the highest ranked character on the ladder for each bracket. So an account could have Gladiator in 19s, Duelist in 29s - but not Gladiator and Duelist in 19s.

The purpose of adding a rating minimum is to prevent characters with low activity from receiving badges automatically. Badges should be earned, not handed out because a bracket isn't very active.

A different award is given to reward players who choose to play classes that are not as strong in the current meta-environment as others. Dedication is something worthy of a badge, as well as skill with a class. Class Mastery badges are earned in addition to Ladder Rank badges.

Receiving an Award:

To have any award added to your account, you must send me a private message anytime from when the servers go down for maintenance on December 13th to when the servers come back online for Legion Arena Season 2 (likely 2 weeks later).

You may only earn 1 Class Mastery badge per bracket, and you will need to let me know which Class Mastery you would like to have displayed as your XPOff title in your Private Message in the event your earn multiple Class Mastery badges between brackets.

When you send me your Private Message, please include the Name, Server, Bracket, and Region of the character you wish to receive awards for, as well as which specific awards your character qualifies for.

lol seriously who cares about this buggy season? Half of the players sniped rank 1 teams with 10-15k hp 5 weeks ago. Well deserved Glad kapa69
 
With 19s bracket in mind, I can't wait to see the "survival hunter lounge" :') - on a serious note though, I haven't really played twink arenas post WoD, simply because of how arenas are at the lower levels of the game, but I can't imagine them being great with current fotm. Hell, it's worse than WoD BM monks or ferals even xd.
 
what do you mean by Character Verification process ? and where do we do this ? or is this something you guys do

I actually don't think there is a single player in the top 20 in any bracket who got there by using any of the glitches.

I've been watching the ladder very closely for the past few months, since it's basically my main job here on XPOff.com

There are some people who definitely are going to be in the top 50 because of it, but then again if you play like 5 games a day for a week, you should be in the top 50 anyway.

There aren't that many Survival Hunters in Title Glad positions now, I don't expect there will be that many more in mid-December. The better players tend to stay on top, and the better players tend to play their mains.

There are a lot of different ways we have of making sure that the character you are claiming from the ladder actually belongs to your XPOff.com account - don't worry, if your character has earned a Ladder/Class reward, you will have no problem verifying it for your account.

Fair enough! But you might have some competition in the coming weeks, who knows :p

Interestingly enough, the #2 player in US 19 is only rated 1999, so would only be eligible for Gladiator.

He got 15 of those wins when the stupid hp bug happened, i'm really not concerned :p

Oh really? :O

I haven't really conferred with the other admins on this too much, but I don't think bracket policing is something that we're wanting to do for the ladder.

Within reason, part of ranking up is taking advantage of the meta, and sometimes the meta has some really stupid design flaws at low level because of Blizzard.

Since we don't have the same tools as Blizzard to determine who exploited these bugs or not, it seems unlikely that we will ever ban someone from the ladder without fairly substantive proof (multiple people with screenshots, etc).

This is a community project for competitive PvP, not the end-all be-all of who is who at low level arenas.

oh i wasnt trying to get him Dq'd, im just saying he couldn't play fairly and get higher rating before, what would change now lol. And funny enough I had screenshots of almost everyone who abused the bug in arena on my old laptop, but i just upgraded to my pc about a month ago and junked the laptop :/
 
Oh, I do want to say that one thing we have no tolerance for is Win Trading.

Again, our ability to catch perpetrators can be limited, but if we have enough evidence to suggest it is more likely than not that two teams queued up with the intention of losing games to one another, all characters involved will be permanently banned from the ladder and any linked accounts will be stripped of all Arena Ladder badges / titles.
