WTB [Swift Lovebird] / Lovely!

Thats not so much, you should go find a better grind spot with quick respawn. I'm doing like 20 p/hr on my priest.

m'eh. its more because i'm a slow grinder (attack some crap, get up, come back in a bit, attack more crap, blablabla). 9 an hour is pretty good for me.

I'm in the Azureload Mine, which, imo, is a great place as the miners and sentries have a chance to drop the agility recipe, black tabby cat, and mechanical squirrel schematic (all of which I want...and the only mobs i've found that have a chance to drop all 3 of those).

The mobs are really packed in tight enough that, when i'm actually sitting infront of the PC, how fast i farm is limited by how fast my energy regenerates. There's zero time wasted running around as the few steps I take between kills is needed to regenerate energy anyway.

The extra beauty of the mine (for me anyway) is that i can walk away from the PC anytime I want without worrying about something walking by and killing me. All the hostile NPCs are frozen and the spiders are friendly. Horde-only place to farm though.

i also think the lake in southern wetlands or the cave in northern wetlands would be a decent spot to farm...i think they're a bit more spread out, but you'd get a chance at the Tiny Crimson Whelpling (although no chance at any of the world-drop recipes).

might as well farm a pet while you're farmin' anyway....and don't forget to pick up the "collect 250 ears" DMF quest before you farm.

Makes me wonder how.. didnt you do this on your main? because you have got 12 bracelet achiev 14 hrs ago wich pretty much means you grinded non stop till you posted it about 3 1/2 hrs ago. Then you got it in less then 10 hrs wich is pretty unlikely.

Just currious how much bracelets you made p/hr then if you did it on your f2p.

i was wondering about that quest in silverpine forest where you get on the cannon and shoot waves and waves of mobs...probably 10ish mobs per second. instead of completing the quest, you could just drop it and re-acquire it. A couple years ago the dwarves in Ulduar dropped charms when you mowed them down with a tank. I got several hundred charms in about 15 minutes. They fixed it after a few days, but i wonder if there's something similar at low levels that wasn't fixed......I can't test it though as I've completed the quest.

I'm guessing he had a P2P AOE'ing mobs to help him.

EDIT: Also, the bracelets are buyable/tradeable so if your F2P is a P2P, then you could buy them.

You can get those within 1 hour or so farming the right mobs

If you mean the remaining 240 Bracelets after one set of dailies which each take 10 Charms you sir are incorrect. It is not possible to gain 2400 Charms in 1 hour on any type of mob (group of mobs) in the game. The most people seem to be coming up with per hour is ~400 Charms (I'm sure some are doing a tad better and some far worse). That ~400 Charms = only 40 Bracelets per hour. Doing the math it takes approx 6-7 hours of non-stop grinding + that days full set of dailies to get the mount in ONE day. However as you only get 30 from the dailies and depending on how fast you can pop them out it could be advantageous to just grind an extra 45m or so. The other way to do it is pop the dailies every day and on the 9th day, blam mount, with no grinding at all.

read my post about 5 up....considering there used to be a way...there might still be...think it depends on if they fixed just ulduar or all the various possible ways.

Ulduar has been fixed, this I can say for sure. For those that don't know, you used to be able to head into Ulduar and kill the entire pack of adds prior to Leviathon for about 400 Charms which took maybe 3-5 minutes, then run out and reset, rinse/repeat. I'm "fairly" sure that the bombardment in Icecrown is the same as someone on Wowhead mentioned the drop rate was garbage this year. However, HoL regular, go past the first boss to where the Slags are and you can obtain easily 400 Charms per hour. As far as I know this is the highest per hour spot in the game currently as they respawn in about 8-10 seconds.

I'm doing my dailies every day, running dungeons for rep and still for a couple drops, and farming the undead mobs down by Foreman Thistlenettle. I have over 100 charms but I'm mostly using them as a stock for the dailies. With the Darkmoon Faire going on and me still needing rep, I don't really have the time to grind mobs all day. I'll get the mount eventually though, even if it takes me doing dailies to do it. I'm in no hurry!

Congrats to everyone who has the mount though. Definitely looks cool.

do you grind at Hillsbrad ?

I did my grind in Silverpine; where the Crushing the Crown daily quest is done.

Being a hunter, I was able to get up to 400 charms/hr there. Beast Mastery with the 75 Attack Power perfume I had 635 attack power. I was able to just stand still and turret all the mobs without ever having to move.

I was farming right next to felix yesterday on my priest. Stand in 1 spot and constantly casting, 2 shotting everything. He was plowing them mobs down.

my strat too..don't think i'm going to try to cash in early as cashing in only gives you 1:1 exchange where dailies are 5:1...just don't have the time for the extra farming. i have some time on my hands 2 days this week and hoping to stock up enough to last me through the dailies for the rest of the holiday. :)

I wanted to note that the mount is BoE (Unique). I know for F2P that doesn't mean a lot but, for those of you grinding mobs in hopes to sell the mount(s), do NOT learn the first one. If you learn it, you cannot purchase a second one, same with Unique armor/weapons. The easiest way to get around this is to give one to an alt to hold until you've done all the grinding you can stand over the duration of the event and sold as many as you can, THEN learn the mount you already had purchased.

I did pretty much the same with my priest, 1 shotting with penance and holy fire but i couldnt get 40 p/hr, more like 20-25. But nicely done anyway and pretty fast. Got mine yesterday :)
