Most may see this as a troll, but i see it as potential for more teams being involved. with low risk of having a chance to win it would be some enjoyable games if we had 10 shamans vs 10 druids or 10 Rogues vs 10 Hunters something stupid like this is easily overlooked.
*If this was an option i'd easily form a team of 10 warlocks since fear is the only spamable CC other than Mage Polymorph.

Then let them prove it. "Meta" changes can be a race to adapt between the best players and have been observed across plenty of different games and sports. Do you have anything to add to the conversation? So far you are 3/3 trash; I'm assuming you're just trying to bait us into deleting posts so you can claim victim of regime change.
 
How about no flavour at all? No MM/Boomy/Arcane. Things might actually be interesting if you move out of your comfort zone rather than just trying to restrict it.
All this will do is no one ever dying in mid because there will be less burst-kills. It won't be any more interesting at all.
 
-No more than 2 stealth dps (can run double Boomy)
-No more than 2 of same same class (special exception for Rsham; see below)
-Only 1 Rsham per team
-No more than 4 healers (Resto druid does not classify as healer)

Playing double Boomy speeds up the game a lot on literally all fronts, and is incredibly strong. Personally, I don't see any issue with running double Boomy, but it's no secret that if double Boomy is allowed, then that will be the meta corner stone for most, if not every, team participating. So if double Boomy isn't allowed, then that opens up for A LOT more comp diversity.

The main reasons for only 1 Rsham per team is due to the immense strength and versatility of the class. Not only is it a great healer in itself, but it also has INSANE damage along with a very broad toolkit (Unleash Life, Riptide, Earthbind Totem, Ghost Wolf, Wind Shear, Flame Shock). Having 2 Rshamans would just be incredibly absurd, and really lower the quality of the games for both participants and spectators alike.

One of my own personal concerns, are the use of allied races. Should they be allowed? Why? Why not?

Some key points that has been mentioned in other threads:

-Bug/exploit, originally meant for lvl 20+
-Imbalanced and incredibly, badly tuned racials (with minor exceptions)
-"Pay To Win"

Good Saps/polys/freezing traps would have greater importance, thus meta change is initiated.

Your baseline point to this seems that meta change is needed. It really isn't needed at all, and especially not in such a scale. People prefer to play with what is broken in competitive scenes, and keep their underdog specs for fun purposes elsewhere.

I kinda just agree with Bestworld, not changing any rules from the previous TC. But the 2 class 1 spec idea sounds interesting too.
 
What if we said no one can have nice things, and forced every team to run the exact same comp?

Everyone must run rdruid FC, MW, rsham, disc, MM, arcane, boomy, rogue, ret, & destro!
