US WSG Compositions, what are your thoughts? [TC19]

It does not matter what rules are placed because the result will lead to everyone still playing 1 comp, limiting the rules more means only 1 comp will end up being viable, more open means more comps, its completely up to you guys

To be honest there will be a meta, limiting to 1 class / 2 dif specs is only way you can see some variety IMO

Variety of specs maybe, but variety of counter comps will not occur if you limit the specs and classes

Healers are clearly extremely op compared to any other dps class, I don't think since the change in enchants, that healers are killable by any dps class, maybe discs for some reason they are trash in every aspect of this game, I hate how blizzard doesnt fix endgame anyway, healers like rsham rdruid mw are so strong in a 1v1 situation and healing wise, so if the healer limit of 4 goes to 3, this might be the difference needed for teams to see who is good or who is not.

All these difference options are just speculation based off the current meta, maybe rogue speeds it up, maybe rogue makes the meta all kiting and offense and defense, from a spectator standpoint I don't think watching a potential O and D game would be one, able too, its hard to swap from different sides of the map spectator pov wise, would be hard to catch oo theres the return bob, thats insane gameplay right there bob.

Any set of rules will develop a certain meta, when people will probably end up mirroring eachother the entire time, if you want a difference, open up the rules a bit more, and limit the healers.
 
I feel like my idea is a bit extreme:
  1. Only 1 healer;
  2. Can not have 2 players of the same class, even if in different specs;
The goal is to delete the obligatory stacks (2 Druids, for instance) and create a dynamic where you can only have one healer supporting either attack or defense. For instance, If you take RDruids and RShamans for FCs, they are on their own.

In 10-man BGs, this will mean that every comp is composed by each one of the classes available to twink. It sounds quite open-ended for new metas.

That may be true but it’s not the point, the point is to make games more interesting and being more creative with teams. Will be more entertaining and more skill in games.

the goal is to have the most competitive players playing the most competitive comps
that's what "meta" means you dumb noob
most effective tactic available.
 
Conq has been worse for tinks than the most recent xp on/off split.

the xpoff split was only bad for brackets with inept leaders like axoim who couldn't organize a piss up in a brewery, let alone a wargame
 
i like the pug healer meta so its fun to see in TC to, like 5 healer each side

In my opinion i would like to see the 1 spec, 2 class limit, as i think this could be a fun change as it would in my opinion make it so three healing could be viable... This is because having 2 boomys, 2 arcane mages and 2 mm hunters basically deletes people where they stand unless they already have 2 disc bubbles on them.

With taking out that much burst and adding in something like a lock for more cc and controlled kills, i think it would be much more enjoyable to play when having to actually CC for kills instead of just raw dmg killing immediately with random double aimed shot crits...

I don't know if everyone would feel the same way, but i would like to see the cc classes actually show peoples skill rather than just topping meters.
 
Under belief that the 1 spec rule is inplemented, there stands one issue among the rest: is it not against the player's or team's quality of life to force them to play an overall 'bad' spec? Over competitive twink history, never before have we been limited to one of a sibgle spec. The reasoning was that it would create an imbalance between horrible classes (ex. Warlock, as compared to other DPS, it is bad in every aspect except it has range). Changing to the 1bspec rule would thus mean an imbalance between classes is created, as in reality, there are very few 'strong' non fotm specs. Therefore, by a wild estimate of 3 new specs changed in an average TC comp, then that would equal out to 3 bad specs that simply underperform. Then, it translates to a question from how good a player is to how much a player can not be dead weight. Thus why specific rulings were set for TC. Changing this is more than changing a format. If this rule were to be implemented, the game goes from the player's to the spectator's. I say this as a fact. The 1 spec rule is meant to create diversity, but what do you lose from it? A player's will of strength. If someone wins TC as a warlock in the meta, chances are that specific player will go unnoticed, as other classes are outperforming and being more stable than they are by default. It is like asking someone to not do their best. This is a very unrelated topic to this, but based off of Conqs statements, he leans for a spectator's opinion. The 1 spec rule also follows this.
