WoW's 15th Anniversary XP-OFF BG's!!!

Which bracket should everyone party sync to??

With the 15th anniversary event coming this Tuesday, I thought it would be nice to get in on the BG action with my XP-OFF toons that have been collecting dust these past 7-8 months. The good news is, now we can ALL get in on the action! With the new party sync mode, everyone from any bracket can ALL play together!

Everyone, please vote for ONE XP-OFF bracket to sync to (remember, party sync only scales down, not up), then go join one of the communities below, grab your friends, sync up, and queue for ALL the BGs!

Is it really this Tuesday? Says it starts 16th, it is that just the tw raid and anniversary?
 
I see a lot of reference to the weapons in the wowhead post but not much from the other pieces that Alterac TW vendor sells (offhand, neck etc)

Still there?

Yes, it was announced at Blizzcon that this coming Tuesday (the 5th), the new BG would be available. However, to my knowledge, the raid will still start on the 16th.

Yeah, was announced at Blizzcon, and I just got the confirmation from a GM that it starts well on the 5th.

And by the way, if anyone wonders what type of "Alterac Valley" it would be, here is the answer:

I sincerely wish luck to all the xp-off twinks to gather and do such battles, can be pretty epic if everyone is motivated :D
 
It seems that you won't have to resubscribe to play this, because certainly they're going to have to use templates for this event, which should be that any trial account with a 45-minute investment to level to 20 should be able to participate.

Yes templates are back. I have used party sync to play a lvl 75 DK in the lvl 20-29 bracket, and all my stats were based on a template.

Roger that; that much we knew. What I was saying was, since we know they're using templates in party sync already, it's a solid bet they'll be using templates for everyone in the upcoming event.

Given that everyone is being moved to lvl 60, id say this is 100% true.

Looking forward to spending the first BG frantically remapping my keybinds.

Oh absolutely, I think that is spot on. The next question will be whether they disable enchants as well. And if so, then better dust off your XP-Locked 60s, cos since they won't be scaled, I would be willing to bet that a fully twinked 60 will steamroll in the XP-OFF BGs, but not the leveler BGs (since as soon as you lvled to 61, you would be templated).
 
fresh dk with enchanted boas if the current scaling/template rules apply. youll be awesome for one level once you ding 60 and be able to use the boa trinkets and neck with on use heal and void tendrils. also if the current scaling down of 120 while synced keeps their essences active....

why use any of our locked toons if a throwaway will get the account wide rewards anyways.

If you are level 60, what do you suppose happens? You are still 'templated'?

Good point. In my opinion, if anyone still has level 60 locked twinks lying around, they deserve the advantage, and more power to them. As long as there is as many of them on my team as on the other team.
