Ofc you don't need to download it, Cheat Engine is fine but not recommanded.

(it may give false virus alarm, but once again, no need to download if you dont want to)

Tried it out on a F2P account, you can only mog into stuff you have, so I could unfortunately not touch stuff I only had on other characters like tiersets or WOTLK quest items. etc.

theory: a lvl 50 char could probably mog into T2 if they're boosted through MC BWL.

Keep in mind back in the day you could mog anything to heirlooms and keep the mogs when they were mailed back to twinks, they might get a pass considering you have that excuse and the idea of devs/gms going balls deep to banning you for mogging something you have in your apperances on a low level character sounds ridiculous
however, you do use a third party program so it is kinda difficult to say

i was messing with this but seems the type of item you canmog if you dont have are weapons the rest of the gear im guessing from me messing with it it needs to be bound and in your possession but also unlocked

Yes this is memory eddting, Warden can see that you can change the memory, but:
• The memory isn't warden protected
• As long as you don't change level to 110 or higher (cuz 111 or higher are "illegale values")
• It's client side, so maybe find another way to manipulate the level with a macro.

the requirments i have found are:
• You must own the weapon / armor
• the weapons / armor must be added to the appearances
(Remember some badass archeology weapons ? can anyone confirm?)

But it also works with unlocking quest items that have no requirs level

I tried transmogging BC quest rewards using this on my lvl 20 and that didn't work.
You'll see them as available options when mogging, you'll hear the transmog sounds, but the gold isn't subtracted and the mog isn't applied.

Yes blizzard added some server side mechanics/checks.
As far as i know it works for Felforged gear ans some of the weapons

Seems like a lot of people try out the "Ferib's Pumpkin Tool" to change their mog.

The tool is maybe a bit confusing to use, so i added a little guide in the main post.
Once again, You don't need to use my tool, Cheat Engine also works but if you don't know how to use Cheat Engine i recommand you to use my tool

DO NOT DOWNLOAD MY TOOL IF YOU DON'T TRUSH ME!!!!
It may give "false positive" to some virus scanners
