WoW 20th Anniversary Event Update!

So far it looks like we can get 8 Bronze tokens from non-repeatable quests and an additionnal 9 per week from weekly quests.

If I remember correctly the event lasts 11 weeks which means that unless they add more way to grab tokens for lower levels, we'll be able to get 8+(11*9) = 107 tokens.
I don't know what the 100 tokens achievement would allow us to farm but even if we can get more tokens we still would only have one week to do it.

Eh, 107 is still far better than zero so I'd be happy with that anyways. Also I prolly missed something so this number may not be accurate even as of now.

I did all the dailies yesterday and only got 2 pet battle dailies today which only rewarded gold and 1 lore question daily which only rewarded timewarped badges.
 
I can't even access the Tanaris hub, my game literally crashes due to the massive influx of players. Hell, even with the lowest options and resolution imaginable it's unbearable. Poor 2016 thinkpad is kicking the bucket.

There is daily that gives 3 tokens(the one with activities it seems)... So 7 days = 21 tokens.

Yllana doesn't have any quests for me on day 2, and bringing an alt for Celebrate Good Fun! doesn't offer the tokens.

I expect that codex will be fixed at some point and that the secrets thing will also offer some. Confidence on them fixing codex this week is middling. The trivia daily looks to be the only true daily, though.
 
I'm curious for people who are able to queue into the battleground, which server you are on. I just waited like 2 hours on Mal'Ganis. Does the server where your character is on even matter now?
 
Haven't tested if it will still give tokens tomorrow, as just one day passed here so far. But in the test realms it does reset the tokens daily for that quest, apparently, so hopefully if it doesn't its a bug and may be fixed.
 
i got 17 bronze badges yesterday on a vet20 unsubbed. today that player shows only two pet battle dailies and codex quest which i can't do. second and third player i brought to the event, can do all the quests again...however they do not get the bronze coins which are once per account per week.

today got a tag on watcher in tanaris was awarded 209 gold

currency is transferable between players, was able to move timewarped badges (dungeon and raid within currency tab) to one player and buy near everything i wanted

soldiers of time quest for korrak AV bg, is doable per player per week for 5 honor badges plus other items, (first player will get bronze coins also) , xp has to be on for F2P or vet unsubbed to que korrak AV. get 500 honor for quest completion, then bail, do next player

Everything is weekly not daily and only 1 character per account.
I replaced my book of the dead with the tw version so far. My epic ravenw ar mace has 1 less int but a lot more secondaries so I probably wont replace it.

OK, so after you complete a few quest, you just use time walking to buy some items. I got a pod on my level 12. But the dungeon item level 64 weapons are better. My level 12 fury warrior can solo time walking dungeons.

Chromie Codex can be qued up by pure f2p characters, don't have TWW expansion, obviously.
 
The Molten Core time-walking raid is locked out to F2P 20, the requirements are not clear.

The Chromie Codex says it requires TWW on the account to be actually get in the scenario.

Being added to a group seems to be phased not sure it its people not in current timeline when grouping up for world bosses around the Cavern of Time.

The raid requires a min level of 30 to que for lfr not sure if 30's can do normal or not

I haven't had any problems in Tanaris...maybe some people are in chromie time or have WM on? I had to talk to zidormi in blasted lands to see Kazzak tho.

I think norm/heroic is 80 only. I couldn't even get into normal or heroic on my 70, either as leader or as part of a lvl 80's group... even tho this wowhead article lists lvl 70 as the requirement...unless maybe there's a requirement to have TWW like there was on codex

Why no one fights the world bosses? or its just mine realm? Im on EU-Draenor, on DF chromie time timeline and wm off.

People use the lfg tool for the bosses. You have to be lucky or patient to find a group that fights it on your shard.
I have done 6 of them and only got gold from 2. Don´t think they drop something for low lvls? Also, the ones outside Tanaris hurt very much with their aoe.

I wouldn’t try Korraks then…….
I’ve also got a 2016 machine and was down to like 0 or 1 frames in big fights in Korraks o_O
