F2P Horde players don't have access to the BOA helm. The whole idea behind using it as a substitute to fill the gap in an IMBA immediately folds on it's self when you compare a F2P to a P2P given the circumstances in that scenario. Ergo, your P2P horde has an advantage over F2P Horde players. Logic dictates that if you're willing to bend the rules even just a little, you've pretty much broken the spirit entirely. Why not bend another? Or even break one entirely? You'd be better off just rolling a 24. If you aren't going to be a pure 20, for the f2p 20 experience which is what the bracket was originally about. So if you're going to go against the brackets rules, why not go all out? Because players want to FEEL like they're part of the experience that they've already jipped themselves out of.



The reason a lot of people got excited about the changes to trial accounts is because we were given limits. When people don't want to follow those limits, it's pointless. That's why I say just roll a 24. You've already ruined it for yourself. But on the same token, as I've said many times in this topic; Wear a BoA helm. I don't care, no one cares. Someone asked a question and players answered it. It's all about the kind of player you want to be, and you want people to see you as. Do you want to work hard? Or take short cuts?

i asked if youd rather people rolled bis 24s or 20s who use ONE peice of gear difference than the rest of the community, and you state that rolling 24s would be a better alternative lol, i'm not one to talk because i have a 24 but i also have a 20. obviously the restriction makes gearing up etc fun but with the current state of horde vs ally i dont think ally players have the choice to be picky.

this is an evolving community and requires adjustments to create a feeling of fairness, i say if it makes more people roll horde 20s then boa helm shouldnt be shunned out at all if a player chooses to use it .

i think people who pay to play and are willing to mostly go along with the enchant/profession rules should get a mulligan on BoA helms. call it a perk for paying to play the game if you will, especially when the eye patch is better than the BoA helm for rogues/hunters/ferals/enhance anyway at 20. the fishing hat gives zero dps stats. it's a clear advantage for alliance players. i think even arguing the point at all against someone willing to play by the rules is stupid and a little off putting. as someone who has tried to relax from the stance of pwning noobs to someone just trying to go with the flow and have fun in the bracket i say the BoA helm on a p2p horde isn't the end of the world, especially when it's on a 20.

I actually agree with Wilwayco. If he doesn't wanna play F2P, why don't just roll a 24? He doesn't want to F2P, at most he wants to twink at 20. Wich means he posted on the wrong forums.

Fishing hat gives 4 more stamina, and horde get boots with 5 hit rating on them. A long with other quest items that balance it. But okay.

You talk like fishing hat is exclusive to horde.

The eyepatch is OP as hell for 20s. They could just make the quest available to horde also, that would fix everything

lol so if i want to use a BoA helm i might as well roll a 24? deal. the f2p 20 horde i was going to waste a character slot with on my main server is now going to be a fully enchanted 24. be careful what you wish for because you just might get it.

You got it all wrong. This is the FREE TO PLAY forum. We are not asking anybody anything. But don't come here saying that you will roll a worgen/goblin, buy a BoA helm/cape or playing a 24. Please use the "20-29 Bracket" forums for that. That's all.

Asking if said things would be fair is even worse lol. Just roll the damn thing and keep your posts to the p2p forums... After all, you are paying right?

They need to create a 20-24 then, and move the f2p forum from this bracket, putting it in a new forum section, so the p2p ppl would stop annoying us.

the argument wasn't about which forum to use, it was about buying a BoA helm and otherwise adhering to f2p rules and alliance getting pissed.



the free to play bracket is like a twofold thing. for trials they are free to play as long as they want. for pay to play players they are free to play however the hell they want.

They are, and they can use the 20-29 Bracket forums to announce that they are a playing 24 goblin with BoA Cape and Back. It's stupid to do it here tho, and I wish that the Admins thinks he same thing.

IF you are playing horde, and choose to stick mostly to the f2p rules (level 20, only enchants that f2pers can use etc) you are:



1) Awesome.

2) Completely and utterly allowed to use the BoA helm.



The leather eyepatch has something ridiculous like a total of 110 armour plus 28 stats of hit, stamina and agility. The BoA helm is not better than that. This is coming from someone who has Alliance 20's with the eyepatch.



At least you aren't cheating by rolling 24's. Not saying that the 24's you come across aren't skilled, but whenever they top the charts I am never totally enthralled by them. It's more of a case of: /golfclap......
