Why do you play this bracket or roll a 24?

I'll name you two reasons.

Spec.

Fire mage isn't *viable* (used loosely) at 20. But it is at 24. That's an example.



Pooping on other 24s and their premades.

It's a lot easier when you don't have the massive amount of hit to overcome.




I want a prize for this. Where is my fruit basket?

We wouldn't know what was or wasn't viable at 24 if 24s used F2P lv restriction on a P2P account.
If 24s went to lv 20s then where would these 24 premades be?

I realize I'm basically saying that 24s should go to lv 20 which is very tough for alot of people knowing they have the chance to be *better* if use what's at their disposal and get those 4 extra levels. No fruit basket for you as I still don't see any reason to go 24 other then crutching vs 20s

Interestingly enough I poop on 24s a lot easier as a 24 than a 20.

And that's why I play this bracket ^_^

There's no big difference between a 24 and a 20 P2P. The main thing that makes the difference between F2Ps and P2Ps is the enchants.
 
Firstly, what's the point in asking for my opinion, if you immediately tell me i'm wrong?

Sure, the bracket is plagued with people who want to roflstomp, I get that.. But that doesn't mean every 24 has the same mentality.

If F2P was exclusively lvl 20, I would play P2P 20 with F2P restrictions, without a doubt.. However, the bracket is 20-24, and already enough 24's exist to make them a contributing factor. I'm not going to start playing against FotM reroller bads, with some gimped trial, when I have a P2P account which I have invested time in already, and a guild/RealID

I play 24 WW Monk right now, which we have established isn't the most OP class. I have trouble vs some 20 rogues, Hpalas, priests and druids too... I don't see me 'roflstomping' at all. I see me doing everything I can to help win a game. If that involves being 24 to help against the other 24's and FotM's I face, then so be it.
 
Hey kilda i have a WW monk too. The mobility is awesome but it is far from Op , he provides a great party buff. WW monks are more effective running with a healer or a pally of any kind. I love running with a pally. so he can stun enemy so you can get fist of fury or whatever its called off. In fact throw me your real id. Can get u some heal support from a guildie sometime :)
 
i cba arguing with you ppl because you're only interested in your own opinion, and telling me the reasons why i play o_O

so, any person f2p or p2p, EU or US, come play on aszuneEU with me and see how i play (pm me first). if you dont want to do that then you obviously would rather QQ than find out the truth.

i'll help you gear btw

Hey, my US trial is on Aerie Peak, my mains/twinks are all Darkspear EU... perhaps I could join you lot for premades someday :)

Simple, my old guild fell apart, no one played anymore, I have lots of lvl 85's at the time of Cata before MoP, so what gear I didn't grind out in dungeons I made myself, enchants and other items (pots/elixirs) included. I enjoyed the profession aspect and then getting to watch some of the old gear I use to use in Vanilla and BC getting used again. My original was a Surv Hunter, I loved her, but I wasn't willing to pay transfer her when Honedybadger asked me to join on Alexstraza, instead I created my first Holy Pally, spent time grinding to 24 and all the gear during Cata.

Since then I've loved doing the twink thing at 24, not to face roll f2p 20's, but because I know horde or alliance will always have 24's in the bracket, and though f2p's in mass groups are harrowing to fight against if they work well together, a 24's damage against them is far more destructive. I enjoy coming into those 0-2, on the losing side and helping the losers start to win, not by mass killing the opposition, but just because I have the gear and desire to get the win. I won't farm people, and I ask that those who group with me don't either. Especially the 24's because at their gear/dmg lvls they should be better than that. But you can't complain too much if you enjoy just being a part of a group who knows what it's doing and completes the bg.

Just the other day I played Alli which included me had 3 24's, and the horde had 2, horde won, not because we didn't faceroll people, but because their group was better in the fact they worked together. If people worked together better in a bg, f2p and 24's this bracket would be extremely more competitve than it already is. I've had some epic battles, playing on both horde and alli sides against people who are my real id friends and some I've never met. I hope to see all of you in there at some time, F2p's and 24's. Didn't you have 4 24 hunters in Cata? Even if you aren't a 24 healer now, you're still a 24. Monks have mobility better than druids at 24. Also you know that literally about 35% of spells miss on 24s as a 20?
