Why 24? How to respond to their answers

40% random bads that don't have a clue
40% decent players that tried to gear but don't know BiS
15% hardcore twinks, fully BiS and skilled. (my level)
5% Those random badasses that you want to know how they just did that.

Personally, I fall in the first 40%.

Truth ^^

I'd probably put myself in the last 5%. I personally feel pretty badass when I charge straight into a group of 5 hunters and get globaled (if you're wondering how I did it, it was probably by blinking the wrong way :D)

But yeah, 5% (and probably 0.5%) is way too high for that group). Gearing also isn't everything, there are plenty of BiS keyboard turners/skeyers around.

This is how I'd break down the bracket. First percentage is overall (f2ps and p2ps):

13% (5% of 24s) completely new players. super undergeared, don't know what they're doing, generally useless

20% (15% of 24s) new-ish players. slightly geared, found the i button on their keyboard, but could probably stand use it a couple more times. These will generally be the ones that click, keyboard turn and skey. They have some idea of what to do, but you can see the slow reaction times. They might surprise you with heals occasionally, but once the other team switches targets, things die.

45% (60% of 24s) moderately well geared mediocre players (can be BiS, but at least capably geared). Not amazing, not always in the right place, but generally know what to do. Occasional CC and off-heals, the hunters in this group can kill things. Tend to be inconsistent. Sometimes useful, occasionally frustratingly useless.

7% (15% of 24s) very well geared, but straight up terrible at this game. 24 hunters getting soloed by f2ps, blatant skeying and keyboard turning preventing them from even damaging someone who knows how to strafe around them, priests that watch you die (when its only the two of you right there, and they aren't taking damage) because it took them 4 seconds to click on you, then another 6 to open the spellbook to find and click PW:S.

14.75% (5% of 24s) decent-good players. Tend to be in the right spot, know how to use their max range and line of sight, CC/kill targets pretty effectively, backstrafe, healers keep a group of people and themselves alive. Maybe not amazing players, but skilled enough to be difference makers in this bracket.

0.25% (0% of 24s) very good players. Unfortunately, it can be hard to differentiate these people at times in this bracket (and in WSG/BGs in general). Sometimes there's nothing you can do to avoid getting focus dumped by a 24 hunter. Separated from the previous group in games by generally being a step ahead of everyone else and consistently strong decision making. Excellent positioning, CC timing, etc.
