Had some really close games tonight, would be nice if horde could manage to get out of their GY.

P.S. The consumables are not helping!
 
Quality games tonight! It seemed like just 15 minutes of straight team fights in the horde side gy =). Lots of fun, and glad to see guilds like <Departure Lounge> and <Make Your Time> representing horde side to the best of their ability. Hopefully we can see similar games tomorrow as well!
 
Games were better tonight than they had been in a long time, bit frustrating tho to face a team of 8 29's with 5, only to have 9 29's versus 4 the next game!
 
I'm not sure why you said to the best of their ability for <Make Your Time>. The game we had 3 we played a 5man alliance premade (at least) of you guys and two of the three are flat out missing armor in spots because they're still gearing and were just in grinding honor. So now that I said why we should have lost, you do realize we beat you, right?

It's like this forum is fantasy land, where people that go 0-20 against a 2's team are better than them and teams that are undergeared and outnumbered and still win "tried to the best of their ability".

I'm positive I've premaded more than you ever will. Given you quoted me mentioning that two ppl I was with are missing armor and have no enchants and just needed to honor grab, does it sound like that group is ready for premade? Your guild will get its chance in due time.

And no I don't particularly care about pugs, although playing a premade group that is >= half of the opposing pug isn't quite a pug. But I definitely care if my undergeared and outnumbered team that won then gets a post calling us out and implying we were beaten badly. So that's what I responded to.

Well I just have no idea where that came from, bit of a short fuse wouldn't you say?

I have nothing but the utmost respect for <Make Your Time>, for the same reason that I respect Grandpa Kunz for his past basketball career. Sure it was a silly time when free throws were shot granny style, and hook shots were viable, but it's all about the journey ya know? And lucky for me now, I can see the legend live on through him. Being a twink like yourself who lived through the twinking days of vanilla and bc, it's great to see a living legend like yourself gracing us with your presence in the gulch. A reminder to us all of the those backpedaling filled days before things like "fake casting" or "back strafing" were a thing.

Sodium chloride is THE best fertilizer for this bracket, its always been that way.

We get enough salt flowing and even detox might grow here again.

Love the grandpa Kunz analogy. If he was an NBA World Champion and you are a competitive player in your local intramural league yet think you're better than he was because the game has "evolved", then it's the perfect analogy! ;)
