Whoa dudes, tonight was amazing Can we make this every night?

Lol it's not at all hard to tell which of you used to play 19s, by the attitudes that you've brought into this bracket :)

Just keep it chill, y'all.

(popping my head in following up on reports of trolling, but as far as I can see, all participants are okay with this level of banter so I'm seeing myself out.)

It's ridiculous that people are reporting this stuff to try to get participants banned. Can we get some language about frivolous reporting into the CoC? Might make people think twice about wasting your time and generally bringing down the spirit of twink banter.

Reporting tool is important to have for when threads get out of hand. But it's absolutely being abused in the 29 bracket.

Only slightly more refined, though he definitely could have gone places with the local intramural league gambit.

I was waiting for him to dispute it so I could say that him playing grandpa today would look like old man kylie irving giving him b@lls to the face!

Honestly, and I've said this before, we would rather have people over-report than under-report. I'm not worried about it, generally speaking nobody ever reports something unless they feel they have a legitimate concern. In this particular case, the reporter legitimately wanted to make sure nothing was getting out of hand, and that's okay. In the moderator's judgment we're not always going to agree, as in this case. But I would much rather be notified of a potential problem and then decide it's okay, then not be notified and have something legitimate get out of hand. Anyway, let me let you guys have your thread back.

Just let us do our thing plz.

We 29's are just a big old family bickering on the bus. The minute you try to interfere is when we forget what we were fighting about, rally together, and turn on you.

We troll and rage at each other hard, its been this way since the battlegroup forum days, you stick your hand in the way we gonna bite it off.

All this salt has brought alot of OG 29's back to the bracket in the past few weeks, it FINALLY reminds them of home.

who are these twinks lurking around reporting posts is what i would like to know

sodium chloride is part of a balanced diet

It's quite funny how at first I would rarely ever see a mod in the majority of threads other than to keep them on topic or remove inappropriate pictures/content. There was a time when we were encouraged to bicker at each other for the sake of keeping up the competition between guilds and faction; which in my opinion is the lifeblood of every bracket in this game. Now you see the mods actually derailing threads and keeping a thread off topic for several pages after.

All I did was pop in because someone asked me to, check that everything was within spec, decided that it was okay, and found my way out. It's you guys who are continuing to talk about mod actions even though I have twice, now thrice, tried to tell you to carry on.

Is there a thread to complain about mods? Am I in the right place?

I was being more indirect than direct. It wasn't a shot at just one action, more like the actions accumulated overtime, in the past few weeks.

If you just needed to pop in, then why even say anything? We don't need your permission every few hours to carry on with our threads.

The reason TI ever became relevant was the banhammer getting dropped in increasing frequency on the battlegroups forums, and then even worse on the Battlegrounds forums. We couldn't harvest our salt in peace, and threads were continually closed. I'm not kidding when I say harsher moderation here is going to cause a serious portion of players to vacate to somewhere where the rating of posts isn't at PG.

And I'm more than OK with that.

You have to realize the majority of TI members have only been playing WoW for just a few years. Many more do not even have an idea what the website used to look like before it's current LFH logo. We have to give them a break every once in a while.
There are other sites that contribute WoWtwinking to as well. At least one of them is rather good.

I played a couple games last night after not playing since pre-WoD. They were pretty fun and I ended up meeting some new people. See you guys in future games! :)
