I know nothing about US.

For me Flipzmytoast is still the best f2p hunter in EU. I healed him through more than 1000 BGs. He not only was skilled, but he had a great personality too: he was never angry to anyone, and he said thanks for any help. In addition, he wasn't a GY farmer either. I hope he will return one day. :)

Cripzblood is only second on my list.

Chelly played hunter? I only ever played with him or saw him on druid with his infinite gear sets. He was by far the best boomy I ever played with. I haven't seen him in a couple of months now which is toon bad.

And I feel Orc is probably the best f2p hunter that I can remember. He always dominated the games, when I saw him on horde in my wsg I always got scared. I don't think I've won more than like 3 games against this guy.

While its true Flipz said thanks for the help etc, bandaged him alot, he also chased people down the Gulch and gy camped when he had the better comp. Cripz not so much there for alot better in my eyes.
 
it pains me to do this, but after carefully reviewing the list many of times in attempt to find someone else to vote for, i have no choice.

concept- dont remember too well

orc- was a very fun challenge. Always enjoyed the games with him. Only problem was he frequently had lenny with him which from late cata and on was nearly unkillable as a Rdruid, Orc if you see this thanks for all the fun/intense/aggravating games! You are truly the only hunter I've found that imo can keep up with my tactics or outthink me at certain times while keeping me on my toes

myself- If I wasn't trying to be the best then I wasn't truly trying

bobo- never seen them once

earl- was too dependent on premades from what I remember. Not saying he wasn't a great player but nothing stands out to me (has also been years so that maybe a small part)


other oldies I remember that I thought would deserve a mention (sorry to those newer hunts, from what I've seen in these premade vids/random pugs you still have alot of work to do)

caid- got caught in mid often but knew when to be objective and was a well rounded smart hunter
outtlaw- gotta love his defensive approach. Very rare to find this mindset on a hunter
igotzbeard- is a old realm buddy of mine. Complete bias in this vote however he made me get better and challenged me so nod to him

Yeah Flips was really good as well and he gave the team variety in cata having both survival and BM vs horde and the 24s.

Never ever seen Flipz play BM at all. He always played Survival, atleast in battlegrounds. And dont mix up being good at something with fotm and having a personal healer. Flipz was always ramboing, no battleground awereness at all and bad positioning which he learned a little in the end.

To top it, both actually have never learned how to move properly with their toons which is pretty rare in this bracket in EU anyway, out the top of my head Outplayedirl is a very good example of very good movement.

Voted for myself, cause lets be real I'm some R1 hot shit in this bracket.

On the real though, I think a lot of good hunters got left out on the poll. Tko and Goohd should have probably been up there. Goohd tends to lack in terms of the big picture some times in games but has good mechanics. I would rank him 4th-5th on the poll. Tko is pretty solid on D and his game sense is also very strong. On the poll he would be 3rd imo. Orc is definitely also a top contender, however he doesn't seem to perform as well in pugs compared to the other hunters. I would put him at 3rd-4th.

In terms of old school hunters, Lil was obviously R1. Not sure how he would do in today's bracket playing a f2p hunter but especially in Cata I hated facing his hunter. There are very few hunters that single handedly carry games. Regardless of how stacked the team was, there was always a chance at an upset with Lil on the team. His hunter FC inspired me to make my own hunter FC and in a lot of ways I try to emulate that play style. I would pug on a f2p hpal FC in those days so some of that also led me to make a hunter that I can also FC on.
