Dorigon
Alpha and Omega
Another day, another poll. Today the shamen of the gulch are evaluated to judge which one rises above its peers in warsong dominance. This poll includes a solid mix of American and European options, and samples from both the elder statesmen of the shaman class and new \'up and comers', as some would say. To be properly educated on these following individuals, I do recommend a thorough read and consideration of each candidate before casting your votes.
Cannabis: Cannabis has been around for a while. He was, in Mass’s words, a cute lil go ham shammy in BC, when he was the mouthpiece for some guild. Throughout the years, he has been big on arenas, as his statistics page is sure to show. When it comes to WSG, he actually made a hunter in Cata, since they had explosive shot. If Canna has one thing going for him, it is longevity.
Dasfizzla: Das is an iconic shaman, though he hasn’t been in the spotlight for a super long time. In the iconic twink thread, he actually got some mentions. Even though he despises FCing, it is what he is known for, and he is highly respected for it. However, he has flame shock spammed his way to the top of the damage charts many times, proving a wide range of abilities in the shaman class.
Kergo: Kergo, otherwise known as Eliot, has made a name for himself as tRain cOw’s bane. He has a reputation for carrying the alliance flag in to ‘difficult to reach’ spots, if you know what I mean. This has resulted in much whining on the forums, including repeated warnings of in-game reports, but these have not thwarted him in his quest to win by any means necessary.
Kunzxpopper: Kunz has some really good shaman fundamentals. He focus shears, flame shocks correct targets, and heals effectively. While he doesn’t have the glitz and glamour of some other candidates, who needs that if you’re already doing everything correctly?
Loldispel (Augiddin): Otherwise known as Augiddin or Loldispel, this individual is a recent reroll who helped trailblaze the MoP shaman class. Early on, he wowed friends and foes with his FCing ability, and effectively used all his spells to help ensure a win for the horde in WSG. While this individual is seen less these days, his contributions continue to be mirrored in other shaman players.
Niini: This is a bit of a nostalgia entry. I was torn on whether to include Niini or Mnkey, but following the advice of a colleague, chose the former. Niini truly is a good shaman, and a super nice guy to boot. He carried the Bloodlust battlegroup through its dark days in BC, ultimately becoming one of the more iconic shamans as WoW progressed.
Purj: Purj is like a grumpy old man. He has been on Elune since dinosaurs walked the Earth, and was probably in AP (ap #1 biches) at some point. That said, he has the guile of a wily veteran. His fundamentals are pretty sick, and he has some tricky moves with Thunderstorm. Jokes aside, Purj is a very respected member of the shaman class and twinking community.
Roula: A confident flag carrying shaman who totally knows what he’s doing. He also claims to have defeated Dirtyauction in a duel once, but DA does not remember him, so that is debatable. Being that he resides in Europe, not much else is known about this individual, except that he talks a mean forum game.
Rvrstar (Assassin/Zenon): This guy is basically the king of the experience on bracket. More known for his video making abilities than his shaman abilities, he shows his audience stunning footage of the alliance graveyard being ground in to dust.
Shamrock: Despite what Europe may say, Shamrock has truly helped redefine the shaman as an FC in MoP. There are also daily complaints from tRain cOw that he is carried by his full squad of healers, but then again, no FC is better than the amount of support he could get when the stacks are piled up. I say kudos to Shamrock for coming prepared to the gulch.
