Who do you feel you owe the most credit to for the player you have become now?
For me it's my man Punkinyou. I originally met Punkinyou in late BC on my rogue. Through our tossing and turning of friendly emotes I logged on to his realm and we instantly hit it off. Punkinyou was probably one of the coolest dudes I ever came across. Through our talking I decided to make a priest on his home realm of Perenolde and joined the guild Vendetta as Ihealpunkinyou. We played side by side in gulch and arena. I was a nooby player back then and he gave me various amounts of tips and tricks to better my play. He constantly funded me enchants and gear and never expected anything in return. The dude was beyond humble and turned me into a respectful player.
In cata he messaged me that he was in was in the process of helping form a guild called Lethal Synergy. I decided to xfer from the realm where my hunter was on (Durotan) and transfer to Elune. Straight off the bat he got me involved in premades which was the start of my journey as better player. He got me to where I am to today and with that owe him a great amount. When he quit I went off the rails blinded by ever coming ego and I completely lost that respect and humbleness I once learned.
Without Punkinyou I doubt I would have got anywhere.
