JWL does infact have 60s and he’s not lieing when he says he’s a relevant voice on here. Probably one of the few people who are actively posting in multiple brackets on this site

The last time that they removed xpoff characters from bgs and put us in our own bracket bgs didn't pop for two expansions.

Regardless of that, I feel he could've gotten his point across without bragging as much as he did.

I agree, he's an avid poster to xpoff but to be self appointed #1 twinker is extremely self-entitled & he loses credibility through doing it. The great's don't have to tell people they're great.

Trying to claim a throne, even if it might be an imaginary one isn’t necessarily toxic, and not bad for community either. It makes people part of xpoff work harder to get to that level or higher (humans are competitive in nature). Also with him branching out to wowforums, it’s really opening the door for recruiting people who twink, but are unaware of website and the fact there are communities.

He has great intentions, and I can’t speak much from there, because I have had shots fired at me on this site

It’s more or less not caring in the slightest about the haters / number crunchers and showcasing your twink who people see around in BGs and know something must be working for you.

There will always be haters, it’s having the rep ( good or bad) to have people listen to you when you say something is OP to hopefully spark a new community

his intentions would be good, and sure running around saying your the best doesn’t on the surface make you toxic, but he’s not setting a good example when he spends most of the post bragging about himself and his credibility, and then says the same thing everyone else has been saying, but since he’s r1 twink his opinion holds more weight.

Being #1 in your own eyes doesn’t make you #1 in others my friend.

That’s the thing about boasting about your own accomplishments(this goes for IRL as well for in video games), they really would seems much more credible if someone else had pat you on the back. As opposed to looking like you are breaking your arm patting yourself on the back.

i think i have to agree with you on this .. for me, i trying not to let anyone know my toons .. i probably will not disclose any of my geared toons here as well .. my reasoning is simple .. i dont like to be targeted .. even when i dont post any of my toons, i'd always been targeted by enemy players .. usually a master is someone who will not tell anyone that he is a master .. its those who has yet reached the lvl and they need the recognition .. by saying this i am not referring to JWL, as i have seen quite a number of useful posts from him too .. i am saying it in general, i think it has something to do with age probably, when you have a lot of power, you do not need to flaunt it .. same goes for if you have a lot of $$$ you do not need to flaunt it, people can see .. if JWL wants to say something, let him be .. if it makes him happy and it does not hurt you, then no harm is done
