When will rogues get a buff??

I understand riv, but after ~3 years of getting gangraped in wsg by rogues I can't say I'm not a pleased by the fact that they are falling out of favor.

in arena priests do killer especially in 2's. may of the top 2's teams where mage/priest including the top winner with like 2962 rating.

mages are pretty OP, with bottomless slows and kites and can carry players even go in solo at times and destroy 2 players (there is some QQ on this that blizz blue posted to) but priest still had to be good and viable otherwise top teams would have had res-druids/shammies/etc.

i see lots of wanting priests for arena and extensive QQ concerning vampiric embrace needing nerfed in trade talk which is chat on my server

Rogue, its time for you to be nerfed for a bit. Before you qq, imagine what its like to be a priest, the one class beside mage that gets absolutely no love.

Really. when was the last time you said "man I fucken hate priests, everyone plays one and they're SO OP! I just can't figure out how to beat them."

casters overall have been buffed huge

- lower mana use on most spells

- BoA weapons at like 19 that blow away even items in the next bracket like 29

in cata-exp spellpower will be gone and added based on your intellect, this with give casters even a larger mana pool, more spell crit and power due to having int-enchants vs the removed spellpower than they have now. looking at the way 19 bracket is now all casters, including hybrids like res-druid, shammies, paladins.....are going to be greater buffed than a rogue overall.

my 19 rogues are already just nothing but cool bank alts

Crip poison would make me happy. :)

Bring these suggestions to the blizz suggestion forum but don't be a noob and post on a twink, do it on some lvl 7 rogue and convince them that crip poison at lvl 10 is just a needed as DW and full rank stealth at lvl 1

Hmm, maybe you forgot back when you could exploit leg/head kits and priests would have 150 sp and 2000 hp.. yea thats when.

Yeah pretty sure priests are pretty stupid at 19 atm.. Just guessing from what Mael said.

mhm. And every hunter had a boar, and i'd be chain stunned and chased around warsong like my ass was made of cake. and rogues had 60% crit and 60% dodge.. and everyone had a 1800+ hp pool, and wanding was the only consistant damage you had.. yeah priests were real OP.

Heh i could have sworn it was a troll when i read the thread name ^^

I'll just repeat what Elocon said on Page 1: Blizzard doesn't balance the game around low levels, they have a hard enough time trying to create balance at end-game as it is.

You guys are all dumb. Crippling Poison would ruin twinking, a rogue could single handedly take out an FC, use a 1.3 weapon speed OH and you would never be able to get out of a slow. What I think would be a good solution is that Blizzard implemented a slow that works with combo points. It's a 20% non-dispellable slow that's lasts longer with the more combo points you have. I thought that this was a good idea but I wasn't too sure. Opinions?

Well, we could always introduce our shammies and druids to the spells, Cure Toxins and Cure Poison...

im tired of shammys and locks getting buffs which is making shammy the most OP class and druids to with natures grasp something gotta happen for rogues

Ya it's a bad difference right now. I have an incredible dual Shadowfang Rogue in my guild right now named Frittos who has been playing the charicter for years, yet sadly I have no reason to take him over a BOA Hunter in premades, so he has rolled a shaman so we can get him in games.

Shaman and hunters are so powerful right now, that unless you need another class for a specific job they are almost always the choice.

An idea would be making the rogues into CCs, maybe, concentrating mostly on sap, thus going into subtlety talents for it.

3/3 Master of Deception

2/2 Opportunity or 2/5 Relentless Strikes

2/2 Dirty Tricks

3 talents of your choice. I prefer 3/3 Camouflage since I'm Nelf.

We could also have increased stealth on cape.

Just a suggestion.

That's already in widespread use, and twinky you're retarded a warrior spamstringing is the same as a rogue with crip poison except the rogue's slow is DISPELLABLE. Also a subpar hunter calling anything OP is just ridiculous

It would be great to see the lower ranks of garrote get a silencing effect..

Perhaps this will happen in Cata? Since Blizz is getting rid of the ranking system, and all spells and abilities will just scale with level.

It's just a thought :D

I find this quite funny tbh. Spamstringing hinders a warriors DPS, he doesn't have the time, nor the rage to do anything but spamstring, thus doing minimal DPS. Rogue poisons are applied on all moves, he can be critted 200+ with a slow? That's a tad OP buddy. Sure Hunter's are OP, I'm not hiding it. But rogue's with poisons would mess the whole balance of 19s.

So in the same sentence you admit hunters are OP and refer to the "balance" of the 19 bracket. Rogues are still vulnerable to CC and can be peeled off same as warriors, however they can't LoS>lose combat>charge back in. Tell me how is it that every other bracket deals with rogues with crip poison but you think the 19 can't handle it? All it does is add viability to a currently unviable class.

If you even suggest Crippling Poison @ 19 somethings wrong.

Rogues are going to get a sap off on every class; save warlocks. Garotte>Turn>SnD+Throw>SS>Train target with multiple slows proccing. You won't be able to get away from a rogue, even with Cure/Purify spam.

Cant give rogues a buff without buffing.. lets say, Mages perhaps?
