Hey guys, I was just here to ask whats the 20-24 bracket like?

I twink 19 and 70 but the queues are taking forever.

Here's a few questions I have..

 • How are the queue times?
 • What classes are mostly feared in this bracket (not that im gonna roll one. Just wanna know what im up against)
 • What are some of the perks of 24 twinking?

Thanks for any feedback[SUP]noobs[/SUP]

The que time's on Alliance can range from 6-12 Min and Hord ques are usually pretty quick from 3-6 min

Hunters and spriest are prolly the most op atm Hpallys r good 2 but idk about op

Some of the perks of being a 20-24 are decent ques and uaaa yea.

Thanks for the feedback. I have a 20 hunter but I still gotta learn what the BiS items @ 24 are.

Perks- around the clock fast ques, not much drama, casual/fun games, mounts

Cons- lots of players nonaware of objectives, not many f2p will like you right off the bat

Fotm classes are hunters, spriests, hpal, protpal, and resto druid. Theres way more powerful classes of course, but since those take more than half a brain you see them in reduced numbers.

Most 24s get a lot of hate from f2p since this bracket is pretty much pay to win (its true don't deny it) but whatever, do what you want I guess as long as you are nice really... looks like 5.4 will kill this bracket though so I wouldn't put too much time into your toon till we see if 5.4 is any good or not.

It is asinine to think that 5.4 would kill the bracket. Too many Brazilians and people who just don't care, and f2p's are too attached to their precious characters.

Then allow me to rephrase, it wont die but instead will be reduced to a disgustingly vegitative state

I feel as though f2p won't be forced into not queuing. Their numbers are very strong and many people enjoy the challenging aspect of being gimped.

The most detrimental thing to a bracket is usually the way a community acts about an upcoming change. Hearing how many people are "quitting" etc only turns more people off. Keep the negative feelings private and see things with an open mind. That's how I feel about 20s and 19s as well.

Now that that's out of the way I'll say a few things more related to the op.
Kibbies talks about a similar experience I tend to have with the bracket. There are many aspects that are similar to older level 19s but having been trained for years by being with only Twinks, I am now so used to a general understanding of objectives that my involvement with the 24 bracket can only be on a casual level. It feels like objectives aren't main priority in most cases.

With that being said I do enjoy playing my ally fc as games are quick in queue times, challenging and I like knowing that I can make a difference in the outcome of a game given my influence. There is a lot of casual fun to be had in the bracket and the community is great from what I've experienced. I really hope you do give the bracket a chance and report your findings to the community. I feel as though it would be a healthy read for anyone in a similar position as you!

best of luck!

I just don't think it will get that way. It does suck getting mowed by 24s, but I think it will become more of a challenge to the f2p. And honestly when I solo and get in, I'm the only 24 usually. Yeah, they get all over me about being 24, but eh it's just a game.

That's not really what I was getting at, I'm staying impartial here. Just saying that op should see how 5.4 pans out before he puts the effort into a toon since its so close.

What's being 24 like? Me going into flag room full of the enemy with no help drinking a free action potion, grabbing flag, hitting dash and going on about my way.

3-10 minute for ally
0-4 minute for horde

Hunt, Rogue, Druid, Spriest, Dpriest, Hpal, Prot pal, Rsham, Ele and I'm sure a few more I can't think of atm are OP and can probably beat any trial in the bracket if skilled.

Easiness is basically the only reason for 24 twinkin. If you played 70s you may end up getting into some wargames or actual competitive premades but other then that pugs aren't normally very tough if any of your classes were mentioned above. 5.4 looks like it's gonna just multiply that easiness by 5 so if you're coming here to get competitiveness now might be a bad time

How bad will 5.4 affect 24 twinking, cause I wanted to start twinking at a low level and 24 seemed like it had fast ques
