This week has been a interesting one, My boss keeps pushing for more OT but everyone in the Office is burnt out they arnt working it and its getting to the point where he is telling everyone Ether we work the OT or he will find people to work it, I think he made a mistake cause now No one in the business office(but me) showed up for work today. This could get interesting

Very nice there is a huge plant close to where I live that focuses just on the blades for wind turbines, its pretty awesome driving past it and you see hundreds of blades in rows
Picking orders at Amazon for your convenience as our customer because your orders matter to me, until they send me to load trucks.
Forklift driving can be a good job if you get on at the right place, Amazon I bet is one of the those places. Good for you man

Apprentice Union Welder from NYC. The NYC license test's are the most vigorous in the world and thus my license is good around the world. I can lay down X-Ray quality welds like it's nobody's business.
Plus when I become a Journeyman welder I'll be making more cake than I'm making now. Saving up for a 370Z Nismo at the moment (gotta have some fun while I'm still young), then some property after that.

That's cool. Union work in NYC is great money. I have a good friend that's a 4th generation union electrician in NYC. He's worked on the Freedom towers, Citi Park and Yankees stadium amongst other things in the last few years

Yeah,I've worked with electricians too that's Local 3. My brother in law worked as an Ironworker Local 40 on the Freedom Tower. That's some serious shit, but that's also why work in NYC is abundant with good pay.

I almost went into welding personally as I got a few family members that run a metal working buisness and they needed a welding specialist, but kind of got into it with my cousin and that was all she wrote. Weve mended fences but I moved on to a different field.

Fun story of the day......well not really, this job sometimes makes me want to kill people. I middle aged woman gets rolled in today in a wheel chair, she was 45 years old, really unhealthy. She wanted financial assistance due to her not being able to work because of disability. When I looked her up she is legally disabled, so I look into her further to find out she gets state aid, yet her house is worth 450,000$ and when I walked her out she had a really nice Caddy......maybe its just me but some people play the system to well, I cant deny the aid because she is disabled, but I want to so bad, cause really she obviously can afford the 3000$ bill she is getting discounted......
