These are my views and opinions and no one elses.
Everyone who knows me knows I hate playing private servers, usually because I don't trust the people running them as there was one server I was willing to dedicate to which was a Cataclysm 19s one and it collapsed horribly due to the GM having 0 idea how to be a GM.
Regardless my good friend Evan/Yowza/Flummoz, was playing on warmane 39s for quite a while and was consistently asking and begging for me to go try it. I was really against
A) Committing to a private server.
B) Having to download it because of my shit PC and Internet ( For the record it took over 5 hours to download Wrath and I personally haven't regretted it yet after two weeks ).
C) I really didn't want to level up in Wrath because you actually have to think about how many mobs you're pulling and quests and all that other stuff.
Some other players that I played with decided a few weeks ago they were going to play the server. They all leveled up to 39 super quick and were fully bis ( Minus AGM ) in less than 2 days including Uldaman runs for RNG on bracer, shoulders gloves etc.
After being so bored of BFA, not having access to Classic BETA and literally nothing else to do on my PC I said fk it and downloaded Wrath.
(The Icecrown server is 7 times exp I believe )
I personally always associated Wrath with super slow gameplay mainly because of how slow 19 twinks ( as I've always mained 19s since Late TBC / Early Wrath - BFA ) were on Wrath.
Regardless after waiting for 5 hours I was in, and began to level. It took me around 4 hours to hit level 39 and I was so surprised how well laid out this server was.
@Selaya who basically set it up on her own had set up :
Free Funding
Free Enchants
Free proffs boosting
Level 39 rental accounts so you can try out before u want to commit / what class u want to commit to.
Level 80 Characters on diff 'rental' accounts to help run yourself through quests and dungeons
Characters at diff Summoning Stones on other 'rental' accounts so you don't have to run there
A guild full of twinks actively with 6-20 members on daily on the Horde side and I think similar on the alliance also.
and much more I can't really remember off the top of my head but she has put A LOT of work into all of this.
I played a couple of games with friends and I was really liking the pace of Wrath 39s it kinda reminded me of Cata 19s with like a couple more buttons so you had some more outplay potential. The only problem was lack of quality players. As you can probably imagine on a private server that is very tightly knitted there was a lot of circle jerking at first etc but people managed to loosen up and be a little bit more inviting after seeing me and my friends online for multiple days and addressing some issues we had - when showing our concern.
Now as you can probably imagine the real reason I'm typing this all out is mainly because I would like a lot of you to try it. Though I have no doubt in my mind that not all of you will be good there, I am still very optimistic that a lot of you SHOULD be able to learn and will learn not to mention there will be a handful of you good at it if not better than me mechanically (as my mechanics are still not up to par imo). I think that it is a million times more fun than BFA and I know if they just had the number a lot more people would want to play it actively including myself.
I was hoping a lot of people that play different brackets such as 19s competitively and 70s etc Would like to go there and try it out, as I feel a lot of you would like the pace as it is much more enjoyable than BFA with more outplay potential. So yes if you'd like to join there is a thread already about this here with basically what I said minus my boring lore

I just felt it was necessary to give my personal opinions on it because as stated a lot know I'm usually against private servers and also against slow pace gameplay ( which I thought wrath 39s was but it IS NOT ).
I might edit this thread with stuff I forgot to include.
