Warlords of Draenor Changes for F2P

Someone with beta REAAALLLY needs to check if the wod beta wowhead database is accurate when it says Strike of the Hydra - Item - World of Warcraft debuffs armor by 46 @ lvl 20.

Some lvl 24 mistweaver in the 20-24 forums said he had 37 armor in beta. I can't be the only one interested to know if a sword can reduce your armor to zero or possibly below zero.....

vanilla rogues -> Expose armor -> Prot warr -> 0 armor
or maybe that was bc can't remember

-f2p numbers are fine right now, but scaling is so fucked I can't help but feel the f2p/24 disparity will be even greater. My 20 rogues ambush goes for right above 300 non crit, whereas my 24 rogues ambush(by no means BiS), ambushes for upwards of 700.

- All classes other than balance druids and ele shams seem fine.

-For some odd reason lightning shield stacks up to 15, allowing my f2p ele sham to fulminate people for 1100+. Thunderstorm also hits for 700 >.> With scaling how it is now, I can see p2p eles fulming in the 2000 range. Starsurge on my f2p druid is critting in the 1100 range, however everything else is pretty bearable.

----- Base damage and healing was removed, the vast difference in attack power and spell power that p2ps have over f2ps is going to fuck this bracket in the ass-----

What you fail to mention is what you're ambushing. It is well known that in wod you do significantly more damage to lower level mobs (pve only).

So if your f2p does 300 dmg verse a lvl 20 mob, of course a p2p 24 rogue is going to explode the same lvl 20 mob.

I'm hitting level 21-23 mobs, the crap by the river in duskwood

Ele is ridiculous right now -_-

For enh and ele healing surge heals for 100% more when cast on self. Enh still hits for noodles, as well as fury. However fury currently can't DW 2h weapons on beta so idk how their dmg is w/ titan's grip.

I'm expecting ele to be fixed, a few abilities are bugged atm. Thunderstorm is reducing movement speed by the amount of damage it does....-700%

and that would be a problem if scaling didn't exist....but in BG's you'll be getting 9 levels of scaling

scaling isn't the issue here, base damage is gone. Enchants are the issue. The amount of main stat we get from 9 levels isn't as much as you might think when compared to what enchants are giving

True.....but rogue's wont be the problem. Most f2ps have max +16 armor kits (64 extra armor). Remember that 37 armor lvl 24 monk I mentioned? Yeah physical mitigation will be very high. http://wod.wowhead.com/item=3389 is still giving 45 armor on wod? Yea good luck with that rogues...

The problem will be prot pallies with +90 armor to cloak, +30 armor to shield, (120 extra AP Bladed Armor - Spell - World of Warcraft )

Not to mention +24 armor kits to gloves/ boots. Maybe chest if you want to sacrifice +188 mana

On a side note...ret and feral are tied for third place in the fotm competition. Balance currently has second and ele has first. :)

The damage multiplier is as follows in pve (for testing purposes, LD = level difference)
LD = 0: D = 1.0
1< LD < 4: D = 6.25% per level, up to 25% (1.0625 to 1.25)
5 < LD < 9: D = 50% per level (4.0 to 6.0)
LD >= 10: D = 16.5 flat amount
So, if you ambush a 24 enemy as a 24, then a level 21, then you will do 19% more damage against that 21.
