Wandering Isle Stayers

Aww got a 15% movement speed nerf with WoD speed buffs are additive now so Ghost Wolf (30%) and Huo (50%) buff now add together :( to only 180% instead of previous 195%.

I was looking to setting the WoW land speed record of 312% (Spirit Walk + Huo + Ghost Wolf) guess ill have to settle for 240% now

Mmm, I might hit 100 before 6.1, granted should help level up other neutrals faster. I wish they'd add boa rep tokens to a tab, I've been saving a tonne of the pandaria ones on an alt hoping that someday I could use em on DA. Though it looks like these will be on a tab, so neutrals will have access, but yeah the trinkets that are faction specific wouldn't be able to be applied, and I seen a video on youtube where the heirloom mount that level 1s can use (By collecting a mass amount of looms) can't be used (At least not yet) on Level 1 Pandaren since the mount is different for Alliance/Horde and as such faction specific mounts cannot be used.

I estimate to hit 100 around March 5-8 at this point, Though I'd probably have more accurate date when I hit 99.

Mythbusters style - I think it is "plausible" to get the "They Really Love Me!" achieve on the Wandering Isle. Granted you'd need like 50 people to target you and use the Toy (rather than the one you get with charges off the isle as they are BoP) in order to have 50 Love Rays active on you simultaneously. Which would be hard to do as you'd need 50 other neutrals who already have the achieve (thus have the toy) as the toy has a 5 minute cooldown compared to the one with 50 charges with a 1 minute cooldown.

Looks like 6.1 comes out next week, so I guess the tab will be out for us as well. It'll be weird having gear other than what drops/can be crafted there.
 
Looks like ill be leveling one of my characters to 100 and farming gold then. I was hoping it wouldn't effect us.

In other news i am lvl 70

No way I'm leaving the island at this point. The heirloom mount would still be unusable due to them having faction specifics to them. Not sure if it's because they have a different look to them or if it's because of the race of the driver that is chaufferring you.

Though, I am confused as to how heirlooms help you farm gold on TWI, as there will still be no mailboxes.

I think he means farming gold on a random 100 to be able to purchase the "new" gold looms.

Ah, as long as it's still gold like on the PTR. Though atm I've been doing Lunar Festival [to buy the 90-100 upgrade for 75] on multiple ALTs. Some servers where I don't have a mass amount of gold, certainly helps to contribute to the upgrades.

Interesting findings that I have discovered ( sorry in advance if these have already been mentioned) but neutrals can use the auction house via the mobile app!! Unfortunately you cannot redeem any items as there are no mailboxes, but you can sell items on your server and buy and resell via the app! Made 6 successful transactions this morning through the app!

Yeah, awhile back I found out about that, could have made more gold had I known earlier, but I guess back then it would have been just listed on the neutral AH, but now that they are combined it would be easier to sell things. Just can't really retrieve things from Auction House due to how hard it is to obtain a mailbox.
 
Gz on 99:)) wondering If you could trick an unknowing GM to get you your mail or something aha, long shot but maybe :) what's the eta for 100 then?:) and what do you plan to do when you ding?:)
 
I might hold an event like when I did 100. With the new Firework from the Lunar Festival toy (one with the 3 min CD) I guess I'll have that ready to use when I hit it. Other than that, I'll probably log on once in awhile to play around with some toys and see if anyone is on to chat. But I also have a neutral hunter that I want to get one more level on (at least) to tame the two pets there.

ETA is March 6 (or before). My book off sheet is down at work, just hope I'm working a decent hour shift to make it easy to plan the event.
 
Looks like the new date will be March 3 (Tues) But time may be a problem... might have to do it after I get off work at night since I can't rely on there not being maintenance to do it before work.

I recently made a video of getting on the turtle's head, it was freaky!
