Wandering Isle Stayers

That elite quest took forever, would be funny to have not done that quest and go back and do it at max level. :p

I think I might [since I really have no reason to stay in an inn due to me probably being rested all the way to 90 and leveling so slow I never run out] park myself in the upper area of the isle for my level ups for 88 and 89, haven't really done any video up there for quite awhile.

I think that the whole isle is beautiful, but the upper part is just what you want on screenshots. Awesome views, the lake, mountains... ;)

Yeah, before I went to work this morning, I took the spirit rez up there, will probably stick around up there until my level 90 vid (Too complicated to try and get a 40 man raid team up there if I manage to get that many)

Got to a spot I had never been before using Guardian of the Elders to jump me to areas. :p

lol, EU having maintenance today too? Tried getting on the servers today kept getting game version errors, which is odd since I've gotten on there before... unless there is a patch or something I need.

Fighting boredom on the Wandering Isle

Boredom on the Wandering Isle is a common thing - I mean come on, how long can you pick up flowers and ore without dying from boredom. That's why I'm completing a short guide on what fun activities can you do on the Wandering Isle. Please enjoy :)

1. Collection

There are a few things on the isle that are quite rare, and collecting them can be a nice hobby. You can collect shadowgems, mageroyals or shards, and from the more rare things there are recipes like the one for the mechanical squirrel or winter hats.

Well expanded collectins are nice to the eye and can be impressive to those, who know the rarity of said items on the Wandering Isle. So, right now I'm encouraging you to start your own collection and post screens!

2. Achievements

There are a few achievements that can be done on the isle, with the full list here: Achievements - WanderingIsle Wiki , cumulating to a total of 23 achievements and 230 points. They are quite fun to do if you have some spare time, and if you check the "show only character's achievements to others" you can appear on our achievements rankings on the Wiki :) Also, please post screenshots of the achieves in this thread.

3. Traps

The hardest and probably the most fun part - Traps. Trap is a way to kill someone in a non-pvp environment (such as the Wandering Isle) for whatever reason - if they irritate you or you just want to relax a bit. They are also the only ways to fight botters.

Trapping is art limited only by game mechanics and your own ideas. Most basic are monster traps - You lure up some monsters with AoE damage abilities and let them attack you while you stand on your target, heal yourself while they are getting damaged by AoE.

There are the gravity traps - For example a priest uses the leap of faith on a target while standing in some high place (this trap works only on botters), the prey jumps down to continue their collecting route, and priest grabs them every time they have cooldown, up to the moment when the target deals fatal damage to themselves jumping down.

I have some more ideas but I won't share them - one of the fun sides is to invent your own ideas and try them out.

I recorded a small instructage video (first one with my voice so please go easy on me >.<)

That is a nice find, would take a few more than that to bring me down, I had an add purposely attacking me before and I think I'd have to be away for like a week before it would kill me, and so easy to not die when you have heals.
The quillen up top could have potential to kill someone but it doesn't seem to go far before it resets, but it has a jump on it that will launch people quite aways, with potential to kill someone if done in the right place, but due to the Pandaren 'Bouncy" would make that a challenge.

As far as gear goes, I don't keep much in my bags despite them being rare due to space. I think I got about a bookbag full of recipes, 20 Midnight Ink, and a few other things, the rest of the space is basically used when I'm in the mood to go out and gather.

So make a depo char like me :) and thanks for the quillien idea, this might be the best way to kill higher levels (muahahah)

And the chamber of whispers - if someone did not do the quest chain the dps is really high, only problem is how to drag your target there.

I could, though that would require having someone else on to trade to your other toon since you can't even mail stuff to yourself on the isle. As far as killing afks, I might have to make a point of making sure my lightning shield is up if I ever leave my computer for long periods, should 1 shot mobs. :p

I might try to hunt you :)
