Since ebola was mostly present in Africa, and in some really poor African countries, the profit of finding a cure was miniscule, since the people suffering from the disease either wouldn't be able to afford it.
Same with 10 discs, it's only a problem in the 10-19 bracket, a bracket that most people only spend 1 hour in before they've leveled through it, so it's likely that Blizz doesn't even know this imbalance exists. I'm not saying that everyone rolling 10 discs would directly solve the problem, but it might cause an anamoly big enough for Blizz to recognize.
And yes I did compare lvl 10 discs to ebola

Keyword "was", back then the research for a cure didn't get funded as much as it does today, where it is present all over the world.
But I agree, analogies can be tricky, and can backfire if you're not ontop of your analogy-game, smart of you to stay clear of them!

Let me explain how your reasoning is wrong:
If our community were simply a few hundred people, we would do exactly what we did about ferals: simply not play them. We had control over our community.
Right now go ahead and try to persuade the entire 10-19 bracket (including levelers) in the numbers of 5,000+ to NOT play the most powerful class / spec. Let me know how that works out. In the mean time until they are fixed, adapt or become extinct. Your choice.
Spreading the problem is indeed going to go about producing a fix much sooner. More priests = more tickets = higher up on priority list this goes for blizzard.
Anyways: my post was stating simply "If you bitch about 10 priests and quit the bracket because of them, but you haven't submitted a single ticket about them, you're a fool." which is still 100% valid.

Closer to WOTLK 10 priests, Cata 10 priests, and MOP hpallies.
Cata hunters and WOD bm monks could never 6+v1 and solo gy farm. 10 priests in wotlk and cata stacking resil were all just as bad as this (as were hpallies in mop) and they were all fixed within a few weeks. My apologies for forgetting that 99% of people on this site joined in MOP.

I wouldn't say quite that many. There are a lot of unseasoned people that play and there is absolutely nothing wrong it. The problem lies in that many veterans do not like(or at least try to give the impression to others they don't like it) mingling with people they deem unworthy of them in a video game.
